Silk Road Collection is a small Asian antique furniture store on one of New Orleans' most exciting streets...Magazine Street.  For a small shop it has a lot of personality, from the colorful walls adorned with local artists' creations and the warm welcome you receive from the owners to the wonderful selection of furniture and accessories and the soothing Asian music softly playing in the background.  All of which you notice as soon as you step over the threshold.  The selection of items are very pleasing to the eye and can fit into almost every style of decor.  All of which are hand selected by the owners when they travel to China.  In the few years that the owners have had the shop, they have taken the time to learn about their customers' needs and wants so that when they go to China, they can make a better decision on what to bring back to the U.S.  The owners are quite knowledgeable about what they sell and are eager to share with you what they know.  If you prefer to walk around the shop on your own, you can, at your leisure (unlike the huge furniture stores around the country where you're being escorted around the acres of factory made furniture).  It is truly a relaxing furniture shopping experience and that can't be said often.
