Booked a night at this hotel based on (mainly)positive reviews on this website. More expensive than other hotels in the area, but my family were at the end of a road trip and wanted to dump the rental car and have 24 hours lazing in the room and by the pool. Shuttle from hotel was fine, but be careful about getting a pick up form the airport - they tell you to go to zone 4, but EVERY terminal has a zone 4, so make sure you specify exactly which terminal you are at.
Room was big and comfy. A/C was efficient and very quiet, blackout curtains allowed us a very welcome lie in.
Tried to have evening meal in the Courtyard Cafe in the lobby. Waited 15 mins to get order taken, then 40 mins for meal and when it arrived it was wrong. The waitress complained that they were busy with room service too, but would not eat there again in a hurry, especially as Ruby Tuesdays a block down the road does such WONDERFUL food. Other posters have made comment about its busyness - just try to eat at off-peak times. It is well worth the trip.
Pool and jacuzzi were clean and welcome part of the stay - courtyard area outside too for drying off in the sun.
Our flight did not leave PHL until 9pm, so we arranged to stay in the room until 5pm for an extra $99. Was quite a lot (for us) but defintely worth it to avoid hanging around the airport.
All staff were very friendly and helpful. Freshly baked cookies on the reception counter during the day were an added bonus. Would definitely return here if the need arose.
