We stayed at the Bellagio from August 30th to September 2nd. Upon arrival, we were very pleased with the gorgeous decor and lavish common areas. Although the check in process was a little lengthy, the staff was very pleasant and we were glad to get up to our room and get settled. The room was AWESOME. It was spacious and very comfortable - the window treatments were on an electronic switch which was very different and convenient. The bathroom was beautiful and over the top with a grand wood and granite double vanity. Next to it was a huge soaking tub and on the other side of the room was a shower sized for a small army.
The hotel had so many dining options to choose from including a chocolatier with the world's largest chocolate fountain. Everywhere you looked there was sophisticated glitz and glamour; exactly what you imagine for Vegas. The location was PRIME. The Bellagio connects to Cesar's palace which was awesome as well. Across the street is Paris, Bally's and the Hard Rock; within walking distance to all the best Vegas has to offer.
The pools were amazing. There was one large pool along with 5 or 6 other smaller pools which all included elborate fountains. There is waitress service so you have drinks delivered right to your chair. We spent each day during the hottest hours lounging by the pool.
My only "complaint" was that is was VERY expensive. A beer was $7 and a mixed drink was from $12-$15 each. Breakfast at the buffet was $65 for 2; however, it was amazing including king crab legs and champagne. You just need to be prepared for these kinds of costs and you'll have a great time.
