“Absolutely Loved It”

Bellagio Las Vegas

5 of 5 stars
Stratford Upon Avon

I have always wanted to stay at the Bellagio, so had very high expectations - and they were met!
The check in was quick and pleasant, the room they assigned us was great, although as I had seen my friend's room with a better view I asked to move. They obliged, however I moved to a smoking room - if you're not a smoker DO NOT do this, it was the only bad thing, and I brough it on myself.
We ate breakfast at Cafe Bellagio, massive portions and really good service. The pool area is great, with ice water machines strategically placed, and plenty of sun loungers.
We had drinks in one of the bars and watched Paris and Nicky Hilton walk past.
I would love to go back.
Tips:
If you get a Gran Canyon tour do not take the 15 hour coach tour, either do the shorter tour, or drive yourself. The Grand Canyon is amazing, being on a coach for 9 hours is not.
Eat at Isla inside TI, the best mexican food I have ever eaten, great service (vegetarians - only 1 or two options, but once she sussed out I was a vegetarian she made a change to something to avoid me unwittingly eating animal fat, I wouldn't have known and I really liked the attention to detail this showed).
I have seriously been trying to organise another trip to the Bellagio, that's how much I loved it!

The Bellagio In Las Vegas was more then I had expected for the price I paid. I love the Lobby and the Venitian glass work in the Hotel. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The restaurants in the hotel were good, but not great. The pool was very nice. I would stay here again but I want to try the Wynn hotel next.

“Bellagio Las Vegas - NO MORE”

Bellagio Las Vegas

Oct 14, 2008

The weekend of September 26th, we were in Las Vegas for 3 nights at the Bellagio celebrating my wife’s 50th birthday. This was a very special occasion so I made my travel plans months in advance through the American Express Platinum desk, I wanted everything to go perfect and we had stayed at the Bellagio several times and were pleased with the hotel.

My request was very simple two non smoking rooms for me and my family and I also requested that a welcome gift be waiting in our room to surprise my wife as she walk in, I would pay for the gift (strawberries or a bottle of wine). When we arrived as we checked in I discreetly reminded the front desk clerk of my request. To my disappointment when we walked into our rooms they were both in the smokers floors and no gift, I called the front desk and explained to them that we suffered from sinus and allergies and that we specifically had requested two non smoking rooms I was then told that Bellagio’s policy does not guarantee non smoking room and that no other rooms were available, after long discussions with the front desk I called the American Express Platinum desk and asked them to handle it, we were then told by the hotel that only one of us could be moved to a non smoking room, to our dismay they moved us to another smoking room in another smoking floor and of course non welcome gift for my wife. I complained again and again I was told that they did not have any more rooms and that it was my fault that I had agreed to be moved to that room.

Tire of holding on the phone with the front desk and dealing with rude hotel management for hours we decided to stay in our ashtray smelling rooms and went to have dinner, I asked the hotel management to please deodorizes our rooms but they never did. After we came back from dinner to our room we realized that the air conditioning in our room was not working, so once again I complained to the front desk and spoke to the hotel manager. The hotel manager then agreed to move us one more time to another room, after moving 3 times me and my wife finally got a non smoking room, the rest of my family had to stay in a smoking room for the rest of our stay.

We found the hotel management to be rude, condescending. Not once they apologize for all of our troubles and ruining our weekend. The welcome gift that I requested for my wife never came and I finally gave up. We have filed a complain thought the American Express Platinum desk and they are handling it . We used to be big fans of the Bellagio but no more, we go Vegas 3-4 times a year and stay at different resorts but we will not be staying at the Bellagio any time soon, Bellagio does not need our business and we don’t need the aggravations. We also found that the rooms are showing their wear and tear and showing their age.

“Superstay!”

Bellagio Las Vegas

We stayed here in October for 5 nights to celebrate my 40th with another couple. Managed to get upgraded to a partial lakeview room - and what a view of the strip and the famous fountains!Stayed in the Spa tower on the 16th floor which took about 10 minutes to get to from the lobby. These rooms are lovely with very comfy beds and huge bathroom with his & hers sink, shower and a tub. If you need advice on anything to do in Vegas or where to find, make sure you use the concegiers service - they are extremy knowledgeable and helpful. Also get down to the pool area to enjoy the sun and order mojitos. I can truly recomend this hotel to anyone who wants to experience a first class stay.

Tip 1 - try Bellagio's own website for great deals on rooms.
Tip 2 - the breakfast buffet is awesome for $15 - you don't need to eat until the evening.

“IN LOVE!!!!!”

Bellagio Las Vegas

Oct 10, 2008

We arrived at Bellagio on a very busy saturday afternoon(23/08/08).they were absolutly no queue for the check in, i was very surprise due to the other reviews that i read! anyway, we booked a lakeview bedroom and is absolutly worth the money.we were on the 15 floor and thought it was the perfect high to watch the fountains.the room was HUGE and the bathroom was amazing.the housekeeping was great as well.i called for more shampoo, they bring me the whole range of product for 3 person (shampoo, bath gel, mouthwash, soap, ect ect) They also gave us a lots of chocolate.i was very annoyed by the fact there is no wireless connection and then u need to pay for a cable and then paid for the connection ( i went to motels where the wireless internet is free, SHAMEFUL)!!We ate at Yellowtail and our waiter was great, the food was amazing and the price was great ( if u come from the UK ,really worth the money).I also use the spa and i had WATSU massage.if u want a life changing experience go for WATSU,u certainly need to trust ur therapist as ur are in water but if u let go of everything u feel like a bird flying in total freedom).i certainly come back change from this therapy and look forward to do it again if i come back. The spa was amazing as well.MY only BIG problem with bellagio was the renting limousine.we rent a limo for a hour who was rate at 74$per hour, we asked to have a nice ride on the Strip then being dropped at the Palms casino. We enter the limo at 10.30pm and were dropped at 11.20.We make sure to not go over the hour.Anyway 3 days after leaving Bellagio i was charged 111$ on my credit card.i contact bellagio who told me that the limousine company charge me this amount because i was dropped at midnight.I firmly said that wasnt the case and was ask to prove myself.how come the limousine company can charge me whatever they want when i ask bellagio only for a hour ride.I have nothing to prove i was overthere before midnight so i guess ill just need to pay.SHOCKING!!!! the check out went better than the check in, we ask for a late check out who was simply at 1pm no charge.the gentleman at the reception was the same guy who checked us in.he recognized us and ask us about our stay, he was very kind with us.other than that I LOVE THIS PLACE,BELLAGIO IS SIMPLY AND TRULY AMAZING!!!
