We have just returned from a two night stay at the Bellagio. It was wonderful......not sure where all the previous negative reviews came from. The room was lovely, the service was grand, and the staff very friendly. We dined outside at Olives with a view of the fountains the first night and loved loved loved everything......highly recommended. The pool is quite grand as well. Oh yes, be sure to get a macadamia nut cookie at the Cafe Gelato..........OMG!!!!!

“Excellent stay at Bellagio”

We just got back from Las Vegas to celebrate my 31st birthday. The Bellagio turned out to be more than I expected. It was a very elegant hotel and on a great location on the strip, which made it ideal. We were upgraded to a room right in the middle of the fountains (amazing, I could not get enough of it) which completely made the trip even better.

We ate at the Buffet twice and found it very good, especially the desserts, the bread pudding was the best I have ever had and the flank steak tasted really, really good. I told my husband not to try the turkey because if he did he would never eat my Thanksgiving turkey ever again!! We also ate at the Cafe one morning before heading to the Grand Canyon and found the food and the service to be both very good as well.

I loved the Fall decor, very tastefully done. This goes with the rest of the decor at the Bellagio, elegant, with taste and not over the top like some of the other hotels.

On the last day I used the spa because I thought my legs were going to fall off from walking so much. The girl who did my massage was amazing (and I go to the spa on a regular basis). She massaged every inch of my body with great care and not rushing it. Found the prices to be reasonably average compared to the prices here in Orlando.

Overall the service by the staff and the amenities made this an amazing stay at the Bellagio. Would definetely stay there again. The only other hotel I would consider is the Wynn, but the location does not make it so ideal.

“Excellent Stay”

Bellagio Las Vegas

We stayed at the Bellagio from 18th-20th September. The hotel was wonderful. We arrived around 5pm in the afternoon and had no trouble checking in. We were given a room on the 16th floor with a pool view. We were told about the mini bar on arrival so that was good. Everything is weight sensitive and if you move it you will be charged so be warned! The room was a good size and the bathroom seemed massive. A great location for everything on the strip. We ate at the buffet on the saturday morning and it was just something else, well worth it. All in all a fabulous stay at Bellagio

“Hotel is ok”

We expected a lot from the Bellagio, but when we arrived there were so many q's it took us at least 15 minutes before we could check in.

We got a room with a construction area view, which was not nice. We decided to get an upgrade for $ 50, but the room was not that much bigger. The view was better and we could just see the fountains in the front. Besides that, some of the lights didnt work, there was a crack in the toilet seat and the room was not cleaned properly.

We couldn't check out as there were not check out desks open, so we had to q again at the check in desks.

We found this hotel too massive (almost 4000 rooms) and got the feeling it is too big and not personal enough. We won't stay here again.

“Bellagio: Loved it.”

Bellagio Las Vegas

The bellagio is a luxurious oasis in the middle of Las Vegas. I loved just about everything. Our room was large, with two queen beds, on a non smoking floor. The amenities at the hotel were wonderful - I had an aromatherapy massage at the spa that was just amazing - and made use of the spa sauna and whirlpools as well. The swimming pools are beautiful and relaxing. The buffet was excellent despite long lines. Dinner at FIX was yummy. Dinner at Olives was fantastic - with a table right on the balcony edge looking over the dancing fountains - it doesnt get much better! O was the most amazing show - I could have gone and seen it again the next night I loved it so much!
The only small things that could be improved:
- check in is a zoo. Are they trying to emulate Europe where no one can line up? It really needs a system in place as things were getting a little heated ahead of us with people cutting in line etc.
- There are no coffee making facilities in the room. Lets face it: Las Vegas = late nights. I would have liked a cup of coffee before I had to shower etc. Most hotels I stay at have a small coffee machine, coffee, and creamer in the room. Not too much to ask.
- The shower poured water out onto the floor - we had an accessible unit so I dont know what the other rooms are like, but it became a bit of a hazard and we used all our towels mopping up the water.
- Its vegas, so its very smoky. Our floor was nonsmoking but you could still smell smoke in the halls. In the casino was very smoky. And of course you have to walk through the casino to get to your room, the pools, the restaurants etc.

But overall, I'd go back, its lovely. The lake is beautiful, hard to believe its in the middle of the desert. The location is great, you can walk to lots of other places on the strip.

The conservatory had just switched to its fall decor and it was gorgeous.
