We just got back from Las Vegas to celebrate my 31st birthday. The Bellagio turned out to be more than I expected. It was a very elegant hotel and on a great location on the strip, which made it ideal. We were upgraded to a room right in the middle of the fountains (amazing, I could not get enough of it) which completely made the trip even better.
We ate at the Buffet twice and found it very good, especially the desserts, the bread pudding was the best I have ever had and the flank steak tasted really, really good. I told my husband not to try the turkey because if he did he would never eat my Thanksgiving turkey ever again!! We also ate at the Cafe one morning before heading to the Grand Canyon and found the food and the service to be both very good as well.
I loved the Fall decor, very tastefully done. This goes with the rest of the decor at the Bellagio, elegant, with taste and not over the top like some of the other hotels.
On the last day I used the spa because I thought my legs were going to fall off from walking so much. The girl who did my massage was amazing (and I go to the spa on a regular basis). She massaged every inch of my body with great care and not rushing it. Found the prices to be reasonably average compared to the prices here in Orlando.
Overall the service by the staff and the amenities made this an amazing stay at the Bellagio. Would definetely stay there again. The only other hotel I would consider is the Wynn, but the location does not make it so ideal.
