“Stay at the Spa Tower!”

Bellagio Las Vegas

5 of 5 stars
spring valley
Jan 6, 2009 New

Our stay at the Spa Tower section of Bellagio was awesome. It is a piece of heaven away from the madness of the lobby and casino. I did walk throughs Paris, Venetian, MGM, Mirage, Bally's and they did not compare to the beauty and peacefulness of the Spa Tower. Three days there and it felt like home. I can't imagine going to Vegas and staying anywhere else.

Minor flaws: Restaurants appear Europeanish, little sandwiches and crepes. I was craving for a place that I could get a big greasy hamburger, taco, burrito, etc. (no food court). Breakfast Buffet was not that good. The following day we had the Buffet Brunch and it was exceptional. At $23 a person it was one of the better deals we got in Vegas.

TV in the room was an ancient. 19" box that looked like it belonged at someones garage sale.

Bring your own water and drinks to the room. A bottle of water from your room is $8.

Kids and the 30 and under crowd might find Bellagio a little less appealing.

“Can't go wrong with the Bellagio!”

Bellagio Las Vegas

You can't go wrong with the Bellagio. The location is perfect, the rooms are fantastic, excellent shopping, great food and a fun casino. The rooms are very spacious and I would recommend getting lake view so you can take advantage of the light/water show and view of the rest of the Strip.

“Best holiday ever”

Bellagio Las Vegas

Wow, what can I say, this was one of the best hotels that I have stayed in and it really made my holiday. Stayed here Saturday 20/12 to Friday 26/12. I had heard the reviews on how long the check in was. Yes it was slightly long, but hey it was peak session and the queue didnt take long to go down. The staff at the desk were very pleasant and helpful even getting me a fridge to our room within 5 minutes of checking in and at no extra charge. The room was excellent. Clean, big comfy. Housekeeping came twice a day and advised us on our first night that if we didnt want to be disturbed to put the privacy sign on. We did this a couple of times as we wanted a lie in after a late night and then received a phone message advising us that they had seen the privacy sign and to let them know when at our own convenience would it be ok to come back and make the beds. What more can you ask for. They left little chocolates, shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash and body lotion every day. The casino is really big and busy , however, we found after visiting a lot of hotels on the strip this was the best one for service. The girls that come round with the drinks were really polite and pleasant, quick and were always on hand to serve you drinks and came round at really regular intervals. We never had an empty glass and just for a dollar tip this was great. Drinks dont cost anything you just have to tip the girls. One day she even said that our drinks were on the house and she didnt want a tip. There were no queues at the cashiers , private members club or for any of the tables. Security here is very good as you have to show your room key to get a lift to your room which I found excellent as there were a lot of non guests on the casino floors. Just one thing I would recommend is that you take a travel kettle with you with some coffee and tea as there are no facilties in the room. We didn't eat here as the queues are very long for the buffetts but this could of been just the time of year. However, when we looked at the prices they did seem very reasonably priced. I would definatly recommend this hotel and cant wait to return

“An OK Spa Experience”

Bellagio Las Vegas

Jan 3, 2009 New

I stayed at the Bellagio two years ago and had a wonderful spa experience so when we returned to Las Vegas this year, I booked a massage at the Bellagio again. In years past, this spa has been rated one of the ten best in the United States, but I felt that the service and amenities have slipped. For instance, after changing into robes, all women with 11 AM appointments were gathered in the serenity room. Then a staffer herded us (truly, it was like a cattle call) into another room where our therapists called us individually. The massage was satisfactory and relaxing, but I was able to hear loud voices outside of my room. Furthermore, the table top was loose, making the table rock and shake every time the therapist moved. I did enjoy the jacuzzis in the women's locker room and showered after, but the water was so scorching hot that I rinsed my hair with bottled water (I understand that there had been no hot water earlier in the day so they must have overcompensated by turning up the temp on the water heater). And although it seems petty, the only deoderant in the women's locker room was Right Guard. Overall, it was a satisfactory experience, but for $130 + tip, I expect to have near-perfect service and amenities. I will think twice before returning.

“Loved the Bellagio”

This was my second time at the Bellagio as part of a flydrive holiday. On the first visit we did not book a lake view room so decided to splurge, all I would say to anyone is it is so worth it.
I had been apprehensive beforehand thinking will we ever watch it, but we found it made the whole experience so much more special.
This trip we didn't eat in any of the Bellagio restaurants with the exception of the buffet which I found to be of a very good quality and everything seemed very fresh. Would definitely stay here again with a good rate just for the fountain show
