“Seriously understaffed”

Palazzo Hotel & Casino

I just came back from 4 nights at the Palazzo Hotel. Granted the rooms, sorry, suites are awesome. Spacious and comfortable.
BUT....the service there really lacks. I stayed at the Wynn and the Bellagio on previous visits to Vegas and they got it down.
At the Palazzo though there were long lines no matter what you wanted to do or take care of. Check in (25 Minutes), waiting for your car to be pulled up to go to dinner (30 minutes), getting a drink in the casino (30 minutes) getting your luggage picked up for check-out (over an hour!!! They quoted me 20 minutes when I called!) then 20 minutes to check-out and another 20 minutes to pull up my car. Almost 2 hours to check out of the hotel. Worst of all: nobody cared. I was really late to pick up a co-worker from the airport and I asked the valet to please rush my car after waiting for over an hour for a bellman but the guy just couldn't have cared less. And that was the feeling throughout the hotel. A nice touch would have been a coffee maker in the room so you don't have to stand in line at the coffee shops in the casino first thing in the morning. And 2 nights no turn down service. I know that is not the most important service but for $275 a night i would be nice to have some chocolate on your pillow. I expected more!

“Great, if you can stand the smell”

Great property except the smell. The Palazzo pumps their "signature fragrance" though the ventilation system throughout the lobby, casino, and shopping areas. The smell was overwhelming to me and my wife to the point where we simply went from our room to the street. We did not gamble, dine, or shop at the hotel because the smell of this pumped-in fragrance.

I understand that many of the LV hotels are using fragrance now. It may be that the system at the Palazzo was malfunctioning and putting too much fragrance into to air during our stay.

I won't be back until they stop this practice.

On the plus side, the rooms were great. The building is world-class. Would have given a 5 star review except for the smell.

“Loved it!!”

Loved this hotel! Stayed in a luxury suite. It was by far the best hotel we have ever stayed at in LV. A sunken living room with a sectional sofa, two big flat screen tv's in the living area, another flat screen in the bathroom, remote controlled window coverings, and incredible views from the suites. The hotel has a nice casino, lots of restaurants, a mall and it's connected by an easy walk to the Venetian. Great location, fabulous room and the staff is so friendly and helpful. I won't stay anywhere else next time I'm in Vegas!

“Best experience”

Palazzo Hotel & Casino

Spent 4 nights at the Palazzo hotel and it absolutely perfect! We have stayed in several Vegas hotels, most recently, the Bellagio, and the Palazzo was the best. All the rooms are suites but spend the extra money and book a suite on the concierge level. The complimentary concierge lounge is worth it. There is a continental breakfast every morning and cocktails and snacks in the evening. No need to have a strip view in your room because the lounge offers a total panoramic view. Free use of the business center in the lounge as well. The personal attention shown by the staff at this hotel makes it stand out from the others. Yes, the Bellagio is a beautiful hotel but the Palazzo makes you feel more welcome.

Rooms are very clean, comfy bed, great flat screen TVs and more space than you could ever need. The casino is open and airy and well lit. The Palazzo is connected to the Venetian so it's easy access. The spa is huge and worth a visit. Great massage and great sitting areas in the spa.

Pools were well kept and still open during our late October stay.

We will return to Vegas soon and will certainly stay at the Palazzo again.
