We booked 2 nights at Palazzo in a luxury suite. The room was very large- had a king bed area, and then a few steps down, there was a living area. The bathroom was not as luxurious as we anticipated. The water did not drain properly in the shower. We were standing in water while showering. The shower head had no options (ie: no different sprays, no hand held). The mirror had missing parts. The light switch in the bathroom was broken. Having a separate room for the toilet was nice, but the light in there was very dim, and there was no trash can in there. In the living area, the sofa was very stained and the drawers in the desk did not close. The ventilation system was louder than we would have liked and the remotes for the 2 large flat screen TVs were exceedingly slow to go from one channel to the next. This was not what we expected from a billion dollar, less than 1 year old, luxury hotel. The morning after our first night, we brought these issues to the attention of the front desk. They offered to have maintenance look at the shower, or provide us with another room. We had no guarantee that another room's shower would drain any better (that was our major complaint), so we checked out after the first night. Maybe the bugs still have to be worked out. I would not recommend this hotel at this point in time. They do have a great restaurant- The Grand Lux Cafe.

I just got back from staying at the Palazzo October 22nd through 24th and had another wonderful time. As I have stated in a previous review from August I had a great offer am a penny, nickel, dime and quarter player and sometimes dollars but am by no means a high roller. Using a offer that still covered August through October I was comped two nights and after filling out a reivew of the hotel from my last trip had been given an upgrade to a strip view king suite. The room was beautiful as always, the service was fantastic and this time I returned to my room the first night to find a fruit basket from the hotel. I cant say enough about this hotel. If you think you cant get a good rate here try some gambling and see what they send you, you could be supprised. While I am not comped for the November through January time period I recieved a great overnight rate and have already booked again for January. I have not had a problem with this hotel at any time and am gladly going to stay there again.

This is a beautiful hotel, dont let anyone else tell you differently. The rooms are JUST BEAUTIFUL, loved having the step down loung area, dining table and work desk. 2 Big Flat screen TV's, 1 in front of the bed and one in the lounge area AND THEN if you cant do without TV, also a flat screen in the bathroom. The bed is lovely and the bathroom is lovely. Very clean, all in great working order, cant say a bad word about it. The pools are great, just find one that is not soooo warm. It was great being able to walk through to Venetian as well, love the shops there.
The Grand Cafe is great, very good value meals. Had breakfasts some lunches and some dinners there, again, very reasonable. Unlike the healthy cafe, near the pool, quite pricy as opposed to the grand cafe.
We were with a friend and all of us just loved this place.

We just returned from our first stay in Vegas in nearly 20 years and chose to stay in a a king suite in the Palazzo, with concierge service. We were there for 5 nights.

The property and the staff were wonderful. I agree with what most of the other posters have said - we were very warmly welcomed , and the hotel is very tastefully done and understated (understated by Vegas standards, mind you, anywhere else it would be a little over the top!). We paid extra for staying in a concierge room (although we got a reasonably good deal) and really enjoyed all the little extras - limo service to and from the airport, got our coffee and breakfast there every day and brought it back to the room, etc, but especially the service we recieved from their concierge floor staff - no line ups and they booked shows, restaurants, and golf for us and gave us great advice.

Although the rooms are billed as suites they are really one big room, with a step-down to a living area with a very comfortable sectional, dining table, desk and large tv. Still, I would like it better if this area was actually divided from the bedroom - For instance two people can't watch two different tv shows as the tvs are just a few meters from one another, or one person can't read or sleep while the other is watching tv without being disturbed. A little fridge space would have been nice as well. Still it was a nice spot for entertaining friends, as we did one afternoon.

And yes, the Jersey Boys musak in the elevator does get to you after a while - although we started making jokes about it after the 2nd day.

We ate at Delmonico's - Emeril's Steakhouse, which is actually in the Venetian, and it was absolutely terrific and the service was top notch.

We found the location to be a very convenient one for us. I liked the proximity to the mall.
