“Dirty Rooms”

Wynn Las Vegas

We stayed at the Wynn for our second time November 7-10. We returned to the Wynn expecting a repeat performance of our last visit. What a disappointment!!!!!! The bathroom had wet dirty towels handing behind the doors obviously from the previous guests. We called housekeeping, who came 3 hours later without an apology. The 2nd day I attempted to enjoy a relaxing bubble bath, and the beautiful tub had alot of hair again abviously from the previous guest. I called housekeeping again and demanded that the bathroom be properly sanitized. Still no apology N0DA. On our last night there, we ran out of cash in the casino so we headed to our room for more cash and the safe would not open, it took an hour before someone came to get it open. Talk about a buzz kill!!!! The service at the Wynn is average at best and although the hotel is beautiful I expect alot more.

“Wynn just not the same”

Wynn Las Vegas

I had stayed at the Wynn in September 2007 and loved it. Now we went back with a group of friends and I insisted on staying at the Wynn. I am not so sure I would do it again...Many things had changed, especially the level or service.

Upon arriving to our room we noticed that it looked as if someone was staying there. Used soaps in the bathroom, used towels, an open water bottle on the table, hangers on the floor etc. We called housekeeping, and they said someone would come, after 2 more calls as nobody showed up the reception called to offer to change our room. We where already installed and running late for dinner, so we where offered a usd 50 credit on food and beverage in the Wynn...

The second suprise was when we went to sleep late (2-3 oclock) and realized how noise the room was. Our neighbours where from the far east I believe and probably locked their children in the room alone as they where screaming, yelling and playing around until 5 in the morning. This repeated every night. You could hear EVERYTHING from the rooms beside as well as people walking in the corridor. This meant we slept in 1 hours blocks, until we could buy earplugs.

The first night we had dinner at the Wing Lei, which was wonderful food and great service. Also we saw the Reve which I highly recommend.

On Sunday afternoon we couldnt have lunch before 3, and at this time all the nice restaurants are closed so we went to the terrace point café. The service was absolutely appauling and the food fair, like any cafeteria. It was all but a relaxing experience, as there where no waiters to be seen, the table still had dirty dishes from the main course when dessert was put out etc etc...too many details here to even enter into. Once again when we asked to speak to the manager her solution was simply to not charge us for dessert. I think the Wynn should work on improving their service level instead of giving away desserts, vouchers etc. Because this wont take away the bad taste we where left with in our mouth.

“The best in Vegas”

Undoubtly the best in Vegas. Smaller than the Bellagio and Caesers Palace, it is more personal. The staff were friendly without being over the top and the service was excellent. The rooms are nice, quite large and nicely appointed. You do not have to walk miles to get to your room or the bars or shops. Good location opposite the fashion mall, which is pretty good for shopping eg abercrombie & fitch, diesel, macy's, bloomingdales etc.

Fabulous hotel made my first visit to vegas a dream come true , especially its location opposite the best shopping mall , the fashion show mall!
Food fantastic especially good value is the wynn buffet.
Stayed in the tower suites with amazing views and all the comfort and luxury you could need or want.
Only slightly amusing down side , was as was on trip with my mum the number of times we seemed to be sharing the elevator with a business man and his prostitute/s! Know its vegas and anything goes but could be more subtle!

“Expensive - but worth it”

Spent the last week of October at the Wynn. Wife and I were in an Executive room in the Tower Suites. Not cheap, but definitely worth it. The hotel was beautiful, with great service.

Ate at the buffet for breakfast - I thought this was good value and great choice. Also ate at some of the Wynn restaurants - Bartalotta (quite poor - food OK but nothing special, and really indifferent service), SW Steakhouse (food and service was excellent) and Wing Lei (again, excellent food and very good service indeed). I thought that SW and Wing Lei were also good value for money given the quality of the food and the level of service. Would not recommend Bartalotta however!

Went to see Cirque du Soleil - LOVE (at the Mirage) - absolutely amazing show - a true 'must see'.

Overall, had a great week in Vegas, checking out the sights, different hotels, shopping, etc. Thought the Wynn was a great place to stay and would love to go back.
