“Loved the Wynn - Beautiful Hotel!”

Wynn Las Vegas

The Wynn Hotel is absolutely beautiful. Every restaurant was gorgeous. Excellent attention to detail...from the slippers provided with the turn-down service to the lemon products used in the bath - it was such a great stay.

When we first arrived and checked in, we were given a room on the 5th floor. We wanted something with a better view, so we thought it wouldn't hurt to at least ask for a higher room. They took care of our request right away and put us on the 38th floor with a gorgeous view of the mountains. We loved it.

The hotel is situated across the street from the Fashion Show mall, which has every store you can imagine and also offers less-expensive dining options and starbucks coffee, but I do have to say that the Wynn coffee in the cafe was *better than Starbucks*.

There is also a sports bar area in the hotel where you can order more casual food if you are not up for a five-star meal.

The location to great shopping, the best sites and the best restaurants is what the Wynn has to offer. I liked it because it was set away from the more 'trashy' areas of the strip. We stuck close to the hotel.

One of the best parts is that the casino is easy to navigate. You're not sent through a huge maze to get to your room like you are at other casinos.

Loved it - 5 stars!!

“Great but not Perfect”

Wynn Las Vegas

It was a short vacation for me and my husband so we wanted the best in Vegas. We have never stayed in any of the Wynn hotels before so we chose them this time. Everything was great except we were very disappointed when we were asked to pay $25.00 per person per day to use their gym. I have stayed at the Bellagio Hotel in Vegas and they did not charge us anything for entering into their gym which to me was equally nice and equipped. We find it reasonable if they charge us an one time fee for entering the gym for the 4 nights we stayed... but for the use of 1 hour per time, we do not think it is wise to use the facility which was told to be included in a 5 star hotel. On the good side, I have to mention the breakfast buffet, if you get there around 10:30am, you are charged for their breakfast rate but provided with their lunch menu... great deal and wide variety of food including Italian, Chinese, Japanese, etc. We also had fine dinings at their restaurants, most of them were great... not too over-priced for such a nice hotel. The hotel is having the red card promotion in the Casino while we were there but we were never told what to do with the card until the day we left. You could actually collects money and free coupon for foods when you gamble in the casino so please find out more when you get there on your first day. Last thing I would like to mention, do go the the concierge and ask for free enter tickets to their night clubs on the first night you arrive because their nicest club does not open on some of the nights so you might miss it like we did. Overall, the hotel is nice but they can be improved somewhat.

Just come back from my honeymoon at the Wynn Hotel. This place is the muts nuts. everything about this place is pure quality. i dont really think words can do this place justice. Although some aspects are on the pricey side, it is well worth it. or, for example you can eat in the buffet, which is still fantastic. the service is 100%. everything you could ever want or need is here. We visited almost every other major casino/hotel in Vegas and none came close to the Wynn. a few people have commented about the min bets on the gaming tables - many of the tables have a min bet of $10 (same as all the other hotels. If anyone is planning to go to Vegas i would advise to spend that little bit extra and stay at the Wynn. 11 out of 10!!!

“so nice but they forgot to put outlets near the bed”

The place is totally awesome, clean, tasteful, innovative...all that you would expect from Steve Wynn--but they forgot to put outlets anywhere near the bed--so it is impossible to use a laptop while lying in bed. when i mentioned this to the manager they told me i should try woroking at the desk. fine, makes sense--but every Holiday Inn, comfort Inn etc has outlets by the bed--they don't even have a way to plug in the clock on the bedside table--i wonder how many batteries they are using...

“Hotel is easy to navigate”

Overall a nice place to stay. It is easy to get to Venetian from Wynn.
Nice size room, I didn't find mattress to be overly comfortable but o well, bathroom is large with plenty of goodies, and fantastic bath robes were provided as well. Chocolates appeared only one day. Slippers (nice and comfy) another day ... DVD would be nice addition as well in case we had kids with us...
Pool area nicely decorated, 2 large oval pools connected by a long pool stretch allowing for a lap swim. All are 3'6' to 4' in depth. Barely any shade until 2:45pm in the afternoon when sun goes down. Chilled bottled water available next to pool attendant giving out towels.
Breakfast buffet - line started to build up about 15 before opening with no clear marking on regular line versus VIP line from the end of line ... At about 5 mins after buffet was suppose to open, cashiers were slowly moving into their position and some lady in pretty rude manner was evaluating folks in line suggesting to those not entitled to VIP treatment to move to a different line. Hmm... How many diamonds is this property?
There is an ice cream shop with waterfall view in shopping esplanade, pretty good but not open until 9am. If you need coffee and dessert before that or after it closed - there is a small and very busy coffee shop (the Cafe) next to misc store ("the drugstore")...Hmm, dessert from drugstore at DIAMOND prices - interesting... (not really appealing so...)
Prices - $5 for a scoop of ice cream... pretty much the same as across the street at Venetian, except Venetian had Italy surroundings and music to go with it...as well as more variety of shops for pastry and ice cream...
Fitness Club - average size, glass enclosed, with TV monitors, but no view and not much room for Pilates or stretching...
Spa - Nice area, not too big, not too busy - very relaxing. Everything was working properly - dry sauna, steam sauna, Jacuzzi (NO chlorine smell - HUGE plus), 2 small cold Jacuzzis, 2 deluge showers (mmm...).
They had nail polish remover, make-up remover and few other items that you may need while going to the SPA. They also had coffee, few fancy teas and snacks (apple-orange-bananas and nibbles). They give you rob and slippers...
You had to take an elevator from SPA down to pool but you could do so in SPA attire and get extra towels and chilled BOTTLED water from Pool attendant.
