We went as day guests on an event weekend. That was probably our mistake. The place is clean but not worth 25.00 each and when we got out to the pool there was no place to even sit. I would strongly suggest you ask to check out the pool area before you commit your money. It was not relaxing and we could not enjoy the sun and the water. That weekend of the 70 or so people at the pool 5 were nude the rest were dressed. Again not what we expected.
The locker area is a tiny cramped space and the a/c was not working so very stuffy and very uncomfortable.
The wet area was clean but the showers did not work. Trickle of water is being generous. The steam room was very clean there was no odor or mold and the steam was a good temp.
I wanted a bottle of water or just a drink of water. There was no water foutain anywhere, the ice machine was out of ice.
How they got a photo that makes the pool look that big I am not sure. It is very small and cramped. The grotto does have a hot tub but it is very small 4 people tops. The waterfalls masks the noise from the freeway and the thump-a-thump-a music helped too.
There were two day guests who clicked and were trying like anything to find a spot to play and they were not successful. There is no place to relax with a friend. The masseur was having difficulty finding a room to work in for a day guest that wanted a massage. That weekend all rooms were booked and they do not have a specially designated room for his work. There was a video room with two small televisions showing films and it was clean. I will give them the fact that the place was clean.
It is a very difficult place to find, the instructions on the web are really poor. Once you get there the parking is very limited and the area does not lend itself to leaving the car on the street. I sure wouldn't want to be walkng to a car in the dark in that area.
We asked to see a room to determine if when we come back to Las Vegas we might stay there, but there were no rooms to show.
We went with the intention of staying the day but after 2 hours had had enough. It was too crowded and they should have said they were too full and not accepting day guests on event weekend when every room in the place was booked.
If we go back again we wll ask a lot more questions and maybe try a day pass one more time.
I would say anyone with an entreprenurial bone in their body should thnk about opening another place like this with larger, better amenities. If they are going to accept day guests there should be more facilities to support those guests.
I would also say the crowd is younger and even though it was Big Muscle Bear weekend very few bears were there and fewer chasers. The crowd was into showing off their bodies but not naked.
Disappointing at best, but worth one more try on a non-event weekend.
