“Best Value and Well located in the Strip”

The Hotel is very well located, on the best of the Strip!
It's in front of Caesar's, and next to Paris, Bellagio, Venetian.....
It's got a monorail station and complementary parking.
Rooms are not that new, but as clean as possible. Requested a non-smoking de-luxe room (got a king size bed). Shower was great.
Had no trouble with elevators (stayed on 5th floor). Room was facing the pool, but quiet enought.
Air conditioned was wall tipe, but did it's job.
Hotel Wi-Fi (US$ 49.99 for 7 days) was the only complain, very unstable.
Front desk was very responsive. Received many UPS packages, and them all was well delivered to me asap.

“Not Bad for the Price”

The Imperial Palace in Las Vegas is a good place to stay for the price. Stayed for a long weekend October 24 - October 27. I have been in this casino many times before and yes it's old school and not modern by and means, but if your looking for a cheap place to stay in Vegas this is it. After reading other reviews I was a bit worried, but the Imperial Palace is well worth the price. After all your in Vegas most do not spend much time in the room other then to shower and maybe sleep a couple of hours. The room was fine asked for a quite non smoking room and the Imperial Palace delivered just that. It's location is excellent located right in the center of the strip with Harrah's easly accessable by the mono-rail crossover.

The only negaitve that I have never experienced in Vegas was that one could not check-in before 2 PM. Other times I have arrived in Vegas from the east cost have been able to check in immediately, but this may be true most places because when I have arrived in Vegas in the past it's been in the PM. The Imperial Palace is a fine accomidation for a person/travler looking for a decent value while visting Sin City.

I love walking the Strip in Vegas. This hotel was located perfectly. When I dressed up for a show, I caught the tram a short walk away.
I had no trouble with the elevators. Never had more than two other people in the elevator with me. Great timing, I guess.
The room was as clean as it could get, but the hotel is definitely an older model. I had reserved a 'deluxe' room for an extra $10. And called the front desk when I got in the room because it wasn't looking 'deluxe' to me. The balcony looked over an ugly roof. She chuckled and confirmed that I truly got a deluxe room. She added that if outside noise bothered me, they could move me to another room. I never had trouble with noise... probably because I left the A/C fan running all night for white noise.
Ate in the restaurant. Service was slooooow. Food was fine.
I would stay here again. I like inexpensive and convenient... when it's clean... and this room was fine.
Oh... I checked expedia and travelocity for their cheapest rates... then called the hotel to see if they would match the rates I found. They did.

my son had a las vegas wedding oct 31..i was compt. at imper. palace while 7 others stayed at mirage... i have stayed numerous times at imperial several yrs ago... this time was very stressful,,wrong room given to me.. security had to reopen door..rug was filthy..water drained down sink very slowly.. long time to get hot water!..hair-dryer didn't work.. minimal lighting..antique 19in. tv..poor picture..remote via long coiled wire...message light not working! on phone.. smelly filthy hallways..no ventilation for clouds of smoke..near cold, old toast, potatoes...5 workers didn't know where to have a meal!.. worse thing was my famous reward credits where "not used in all of Vegas".... NO CASH BACK.. for over $500 received $20 meal ..credit!!... not hospitable at hospitality!.. response to my complaints in room, where friendly + fast..drink servers where quick, polite with ice-filled drinks...entertainment on the floor was fabulous..choice of slots excellent..housekeeper terrfic..engineering, security great... I will never stay at imperial again.. numerous other casinos..at great price, or compt..enjoyed treasure island, harrah;s, mirage...heaven!..good luck!.. sooo disappointed... wedding was fabulous!..
