We have just returned from a weeks stay at the Paris, Las Vegas for my partners birthday and really enjoyed it!
I was glad we chose the Paris as it was in the perfect strip location, central right opposite the Bellagio, and we found the hotel itself to be superb - very smart and well looked after!
The check in (Thursday afternoon) was quick and easy, no queue and the staff friendly.
We booked a standard room and we were on the 21st floor and found our room to be perfect - comfortable, clean, spacious and well tended to by our maids all week.
The view wasnt great but why pay extra for that when you dont spend much time in the room anyway - there is too much else to do and see.
The casino was large and we found the dealers to be friendly and talkative, the drinks ladies were good and seemed to come round quite regularly and we also had small wins on the slots in the Paris once or twice.
A tip for the dealers if your winning and the drinks ladies when your drinks come is appreciated.
Roulette tables at the Paris are mostly minimum $10 bets so if you dont want to gamble that much go to Bills round the corner which are $5.
Breakfast buffet is good, long queues at the weekend but not so bad during the week.
They change to lunch at 11am so try to get there before 10am to get a better selection. It is $16 - eat all you like.
On the one morning we decided against the buffet we bought a croissant and a juice each in the Boulangerie but that came to $8 each which we thought quite expensive so opted back to the buffet after that.
The Italian restaurant opposite the buffet is divine for dinner - lovely pasta dishes!!!
Eating out in Vegas we thought was pretty expensive in general.
Pool was large on the 3rd floor roof terrace and there were plenty of sunloungers and room to put them out and the hotel supply plenty of clean towels so no need to take your own pool towels.
Eiffel Tower view from the pool is fab and we found it all to be clean and well kept.
Things like snacks and water in the hotel and mini bar are very expensive so get them outside of the hotel when you can.
The hotel is connected to Ballys via the shopping mall walkway and you can also get the monorail here if you wish to use it.
Overall our stay at the Paris was fantastic and I would definately go back.
I have deducted one star from the rating though as there was a $5 mini bar charge on our bill and we hadnt even opened the mini bar in our whole stay - I was going to query it at check out but the queue to check out was so long we checked out using the express kiosk and decided to just pay the mystery $5 charge!
