“Great as always”

We stayed here for 8 nights (We always book the last night even though we leave around 10 PM)
Check-in at 10 pm was quick, but a "P" room was not available til the next day, which was fine by us. Picked up our keys the next day without a problem. I don't think it was a renovated room, but everything was satisfactory. Housekeeping was very good, but I must admit, the hand lotion left much to be desired, actually went to Walgreens to get a better one. The dry climate really affects our skin. I really like the separate bath & shower. Lots of room. The corner windows were nice - we had a view of the pool & the fountains. We are not pool people, but I did notice it always seemed quite crowded. Because the P rooms are at the VERY end of the hallway, there was no noise. Like many hotels, you must call housekeeping to get the bed linen changed, otherwise they just remake the bed.
We tend to sit at the bar to play video poker, and we really liked Gustaves. Bartenders are very friendly & efficient - never waited long for a drink!
Food choices are plentiful, from Mon Ami Gabi to the Creperie, or the great salad/sandwich place. Can't remember the name. All employees we came in contact with were pleasant, and they didn't use the fake French accent!
The passageway to Bally's is very convenient, and the location just can't be beat.
I would highly recommend this hotel, & we will stay there in the future.

“A bit disappointing”

I stayed here for 1 night on the last leg of a 1 week National Parks tour so I was expecting a nice luxuious end to my hectic vacation.
The hotel was very grand and the rooms were nice. But overall I thought that it lacked the little things. The parking garage was really far away from the front desk. Also the hotel did not have complimentary internet.
The price was reasonable and it was a great location, but all in all a bit disappointing, but maybe I expected just a bit too much.

I visited a friend that moved here 2 months ago and stayed at the Paris Hotel for 1 full week. We were able to check-in early - the room was ok - there was a hole on the wall that we immediately reported (we don't want to be held responsible for the damage). I was impressed at first but after walking the whole strip and seeing other hotels, I wish I would have made my reservation at the Venetian - which was brighter and had friendlier staff (the Paris Hotel is dark, expensive, congested).

The one time that we had a Housekeeper clean our room, we had some issues - my friend lost his retainer which he left on top of the bathroom counter. We understand it was an accident (the housekeepers are the only staff that were friendly) - but the dissapointing part is how we were treated when we reported the problem. Not only did they blow us off, the Managers yelled at us on the phone, blamed us, and hung up on us --- very rude!!! People here DON'T CARE. We requested for a return call to resolve the problem but no one did.

Don't bring back left over food - they charge $2.00 for each borrowed item (fork, spoon, knife, plate, glass, etc). The internet connection is bad and expensive. I wanted my stay to be great so I didn't mind spending the extra money but after this experience, I will NEVER stay here again - it's a good thing there are a lot of hotels to choose from.

“Great hotel! Prime Location!”

We really enjoyed our stay at the Paris. We got a GREAT deal at $89/night through the hotel website. The room was beautiful and so was the bathroom with a nice bathtub, a glass shower and big counter spaces. It turned out to be our favorite hotel on the strip (theming wise) so we were really glad to be staying there! The $89/night rate was for a room with no view but it was fine for us.

We went to a great place called TixforTonight (on the strip) and got vouchers for the Village Buffet at the Paris at a discounted price. The breakfast Buffet with the disocunt was at $9.99 per person instead of $14 (I beleive) and i'm NOT a buffet person but that breakfast buffet was OUT OF THIS WORD especially for $10 a person. The discount also applied to the lunch and dinner buffet but we didnt try those. Overall, the Paris is a GREAT hotel, in a prime central location on the strip and has beautiful theming. The rooms are really nice and we enjoyed every minute of it! We would stay there again if we got a great deal like we did this time!

Just returned from the Paris at the end of October. Have to say it is the best time of year to go to LV. Weather was outstanding. I go to the Paris twice a year and for this year here it is. Yes rooms are in need of renovation. Unless you want to pay extra for the few floors that have been renovated, it's just not worth the extra money. No': their is no coffee service in the rooms any more, to remedy that I traveled with a small coffee pot ,packed my coffee in plastic bags and my cup was ready in the morning. No big deal. Yes,. the buffet seems to be missing something but where are you going to get that kind of selection for that price. The lines were long every day, so the price must be right. Now I did not say perfect. The Italian restaurant accross the walkway was this time absolutely horrible. They must have changed hands or something it was bad. The only good part was the wonderful tennors that sang. They deserved thier tips and I'm sure they are not getting enough of them. Now on to the gambling in the casino, tight, tighter and winning at the slots is almost impossible. Paris and Ballys, you my as well take your money and throw it on the floor and leave. Everyone was complaining. They are not letting you leave with even a little bit. My husband and I had a car rental and headed to freemont street where we ended up having a ball. We won every night. We also were surprised with a wonderful restaurant in the Golden Nuget called the Grotto. The food, service, waiters were outstanding. We ate their 3 nights the food was that good. Also would not hesitate to stay at the Golden Nuget. It was the diamond of the district. The casino, restaurant, pool, aquarium and the warmth of the whole place was great. You also have all of those casinos at your feet without having to get back in the car. So the location of the Paris is still great I will say it's not what it was but take a look at some of the other casinos in that price range. You'll still pick the Paris and no matter it still has the bang for the buck. Here is hoping that they meaning the casinos realize that we travel their to gamble be treated like a king and queen and walk home with the feeling I want to go back. That feeling is only if I win the lottery . So Las Vegas, please wake up. The middle class is what built that town. We would like to come back and I know you want us. Right now you are feeling that pinch and it's the middle of the road vacationers that want to visit Bring us Back. Treat us better.
