“Great Stay”

Our family attended a wedding at Paris Hotel and many of us stayed at Bally's. Our stay was from Oct 23 to Oct 27 and between us we had 4 rooms all in the south tower.Check in was fast and they didn't bother us for an upgrade. Our room was clean as well as the bathroom but they did show some ware and beds were comfortable and both rooms was very large. Our maid service was good and you could get any extras you needed by just asking. We had a partial view of the Bellagio and the fountain and the Paris Hotel, the lights were spectaular at night. Our a/c worked very well and was not loud and there was very little hall noise, we never had to wait more than a minute or two to use elevators up or down. Yes on Thursday there were food trays left in the hallway but by Friday they were gone and the hallways were clear rhe rest of the week-end.
We used the pool once and it was fine and we did get our drinks in the little store by the pool towels. We didn't eat any meals at Bally's but did some some slots but didn't win much. The drink servers came around quite often when gambling and all the staff we dealt with were very pleasant . I would stay again and my other family members would too and the location was excellent .

The rooms were nice. I was skeptical about staying here, but was very impressed overall. I thought the hotel would be outdated, but it wasn't. We had a lot of fun and the staff was great. The location was perfect!!! We will definatly be back.

“Solid hotel, Nothing Fancy”

Bally's Las Vegas

Stayed overnight on business, and the room was solid but nothing fancy or spectacular. As hotel rooms go, however, it was larger than typical which would have been a benefit on a longer visit.

The service was good, although the lines at check in were incredible and the hotel seemed understaffed. Finally, I only had a dinner at the hotel and had a very marginal steak (overcooked and tough) but the rest of the dinner was okay.

Given all of the options on the Strip, I would use this as a back up plan.

“Will not stay here again”

We just returned from a week in Vegas. It's our 5th time and we stayed at Bally's this time because of the great rate and we needed an adjoining room with a Suite. Suite was large but jacuzzi and bidet was waste of space. Bathroom was like a small closet . We stayed in the south tower near the elevator. The Elevator was extremely loud and noisy. We were warned that it may be when we checked in. The hotel is very dated and worn. Light in the hallway outside our room flickered for 4 days before it was replaced. Empty glass left at the door of the room across from us remained for 5 days until it was removed. Housekeeping was good. But if you rate your vacation based on your hotel accomodations, then Bally's is not for you.

“Exactly as expected”

We stayed at Bally's south tower Room # 6827 for 3 nights Oct 15-17, 2008. We paid $70, $80, and $180 for the 3 nights. Booked directly thru the hotel website.

Our room was in the South tower (closest to the strip), on the 18th floor, with a south facing view of Paris and Bellagio, and the south part of the strip.

The room was basic in decor, at little dated, but not bad. Two queen beds (comfortable), a six drawer chest, a small round table and two chairs, a large closet with mirrored doors, a big bathroom with loads of mirrors, and a fantasic window wall overlooking the south strip.

The South tower has one set of six elevators, 3 for the lower floors and 3 for the upper floors. The South tower is closest to the strip, but furtherest from the restaurants, connector to Paris, pool, spa and parking. If you drive, you have to park behind Paris or use the Bally's valet.

Check-in and out was super, super easy. Ordered room service for one breakfast. A little slow, but very nice and tasty. Ate at the Sidewalk Cafe twice. Good food, good service, reasonable prices. Order the fruit plate (not on the menu, but a real good option!).

Bally's has no buffet currently, but Paris has a good one next door. The pool is a long walk, as is the spa and the monorail station.

The South tower has better views than the North tower, but the North tower had more recently decorated and updated rooms. You will pay more for North tower rooms.

Any questions, please email: rmw5597@hotmail.com. Good luck!
