No one working check in counter, baggage man had to call in back room to find one lady who finally showed up almost 15 mins later and she couldn't get anyone else to come out and help her. No directions to room elevators, had to ask. New hotel? didn't look like it, worn, stained, ripped carpet in halls and elevators. Maid reused coffee stained napkins for next days coffee, just refolded them for us. Reused paper coffee stained labels for water bottles I had thrown into trash so she picked through all the trash to dig them out and replace them on new bottles......nasty!! I'd venture to guess she cleaned nothing if she did that so we suspended all maid services after that little treat.
Heard a man ask for his express package he'd had sent and the guest service man said.....that'll be $10......why? it's our policy to charge a handling fee......just to hand it to a paying customer, can you say rip off? Check out day a bill was slipped under our door for hotel service and fees to the tune of another $35. When I went to the check out counter and questioned it I was given a list of "complimentary" items that every customer gets charged for. I asked if he knew what the meaning of complimentary was cause where I grew up it means FREE. Not at the Westin, let's see it was for the free water whose nasty, reused, coffee stained sign said "complimentary" and for the vale service I didn't use and for the self parking I did use and for the "complimentary" FREE boarding pass printing I did use and for the FREE newspaper I did not use and for the other 5-6 things on that list I did not use but they still wanted me to pay for all that "complimentary" items. The clerk said those charges were clearly listed on Priceline, they were not. I handed him the intire printout from Priceline and said....show me where it says that. He studdered and said well, it does but I'll remove the charges this time. Do not worry, we won't be returning. Then he said he couldn't print me a copy of those charges being removed from my card and I said, yes...you can. Guess what, yes...he could. My advise? Don't bother to even drive by this nasty, non customer serving TWO star hotel, they'll probably try to charge you for looking at their dirty windows.
