My son and I were beginning a four-state, 1800-mile trip to get some kicks on Route 66, see the Petrified Forest, Painted Desert, Monument Valley, Grand Canyon and Mailbu, CA. Our start/stop was Las Vegas. We just needed an overnight accomodation close to the airport since we were arriving late from Tampa. Getting to the hotel from the rental car pick-up was a breeze. Check in was smooth and the front desk staff was courteous. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was quite soft. The breakfast is NOT complimentary, but the Wi-Fi is. We checked out early the next morning to get on the road, but we would recommend the Courtyard Marriott in Henderson to anyone. It was a nice, quiet respite not far from the Strip and, although it is still close to the airport, the noise level was not loud enough to bother us at all.
