agree with the other reviewers -- clean and a nice place to stay. was disappointed in no fridge/microwave in the room -- can't figure that one out. airplanes are right overhead, but since they are landing are not that bad -- strange, but true. good wireless internet in the room, and wired if you need it. bed was excellent, as were pillows and linens -- towels not so much but hey, it's the desert so they should conserve water somewhere! breakfast was good -- $10 to $15 each -- we split one breakfast omelette and one waffle, oj for me and tea for the wife and escaped for $20 which included a $5 tip -- the staff was very nice. lobby has two internet terminals with printers, lemon water and coffee -- and you can buy beer or wine at the front desk, although we didn't. suggest driving out to lake meade -- 15 or 20 minutes away and a wonderful western landscape -- dry and volcanic -- and the lake. strip is a must, I guess -- we liked the pyramid end of the strip -- luxor and mandalay very elegant -- north end seedier with the exception of the bellagio. have fun!

I recently stayed at this hotel during a business trip to Las Vegas and had a great stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the facilities were very clean and comfortable. I especially appreciated the smoke free environment! As for comments from other travelers about the airplane noise, I didn't notice it at all. I was able to sleep peacefully.

In many ways a typical Courtyard. The rooms were recently renovated, clean, and very typical of Courtyard rooms. The public areas were nice and the mini-store was convenient. Service however was below-average. The girl at the front desk could not take a message. When I called the front desk twice - it took over 20 rings before answering. The restaurant did not prepare the food as ordered (because the hassled waitress did not write it down), and there was only one person to wait on 30 people. Clearly getting good help is a problem. Although the hotel was non-smoking, the entrance was crammed with smoking people (standing and on benches) with no attempt to dissuade them or move them away. The major drawback, however, was that the hotel is on the flightpath of McCarron International Airport, with flight coming overhead every few seconds. The place is only moderately soundproofed so sleeping was difficult. The location required a parking permit, but it was hard to see why it was necessary. I will not return.

It's Marriott, how bad can it be?

It's really nice to have non-smoking room at this facility. The place is nice and clean. However, the room is a little small. I booked it through priceline and they couldn't upgrade me to a 2-bed room eventhough they have plenty of rooms for the New Year's Eve. The room we stayed had a large bed, a sofa pullout bed, table and a chair. Nothing spectacular about the TV/bathroom/sink area. But, again, it's decent and clean. I was a little disappointed not finding a safe inside my room nor complimentary continental breakfast (you can pay like $15 for breakfast buffett ! )

As some others complained, the hotel is a little noisy from all the airplanes. It sits right underneath the descending air space in front of the airport. It's probably like 1 mile from the airport, so you constantly hear airplanes from around 6am till 11pm.

Overall, I'd stay again if the price is right, but definitely not for $200/n.
