Our short stay at the 320 ranch was truly memorable. The ranch is located amidst a stunning landscape, and the ranch itself is very quaint indeed. The cabins are beautiful, snug logs and not a scrap of steel to be seen. We had a room with a fireplace, it was very enjoyable to see the flames and hear the crackling fire.
The staff were very friendly as well. The ranch has a small store and also a laundry room. The restaraunt is quite well reputed, though we did not try it.

“Best example of an oustanding guest ranch”

320 Guest Ranch

We stayed at the 320 Ranch after leaving an overpriced lodge just up the highway. We are a family of four with two boys age 12 and 15. We have stayed at quite a few western lodges in the Rockies and this one was outstanding in every way. The price was reasonable and the amenities were excellent. The 320 has a wide variety of cabins and our was quiet and well situated. There is an excellent restaurant on the premises and the food was very good. The location is very scenic with great stream fishing on the property as well as a stocked lake. The horse riding was very good - a wide range of trip lengths and excellent scenery. There is a good fly shop on the premises and excellent fly fishing nearby as well as a good selection of guided trips on the Madison and the Yelowstone. The location is also outstanding - close enough to Yellowstone for day trips and also very scenic country in and around the 320 and up the valey towards Bozeman. This is was definitely an exellent surprise that we stumbled on but we would definitely return. I

We loved the 320 Guest Ranch. The rooms were nice, you can't beat the fly fishing on the Gallatin River that runs through the property and my wife and son loved the horseback riding. The service was prompt and friendly.
The property also has a very good restaurant and there is anything you could possibly need 12 miles north at Big Sky Resort.

We were blown away by the overall beauty of Montana and Yellowstone. The Ranch did not disappoint either it was a wonderful experience..to the food at the restaurant, Fly fishing with Leaf the Guide, to horseback riding...and the Lovely views of the Gallatin from our river cabin. The availability of upclose wildlife sightings..such as bears, buffalo, foxes, eagles, moose,elk..and Mtn views were breathtaking. Don't forget to Raft the Gallatin..exhilerating!!...Can't wait to get back...to Montana and the 320..

“Another great vist”

Our family has been enjoying the 320 Ranch since 1990. We discovered it the first time, having just escaped another guest ranch located a little further down the gallatin valley!

We have stayed in mid winter and mid summer and enjoyed it each time.

The 320 accomodations are all very comfortable and a good value. The 320 ranch has pretty much all activities available through their guide and outfitting service, but they dont make you package anything with your room.

Generally the staff try hard to please and otherwise leave you alone to enjoy your stay.

They now have wireless internet available at the main lodge. We got a decent signal in our cabin.

The restaurant at 320 is good, but has become very expensive and with kids its just not affordable for us.

Only real complaint is that there is no swimming pool-not even a small above ground pool- that would be a huge attraction on hot summer afternoons.

PS (We also ate at the Cinnamon Lodge next door NOT part of 320-the food was good and reasonably priced , but the service and atmosphere the night we were there was nothing short of terrible...50 minutes to get a mexican meal while listening to a table of 18 get over served/drunk then get loud and crude. Owner didnt see to care!)
