This hotel is awesome. It has just been totally remodeled. Everything is fresh, very clean, and well worth the stay. Believe me - I am very picky! We purchased our room through Price Line for $40 and it was way more than we expected. We ended up with 2 queen beds and a sofa sleeper, NS room with a balcony. They were very accomidating and very polite. Took care of all of our needs without any hassle. Our original room was only a King and we had children with us and needed more beds - not a problem since it was during the week. It is a little hard to get to until you figure out the outer roads then it's fine. Close to shopping, food, entertainment. Would definetly stay there again.

Arrived after dark and drove around in circles trying to find the place (with directions from the hotel). When I finally found it, things didn't improve much. Front desk didn't tell me where the elevator was (not near lobby, but way down the hall). Had only feather pillows, to which I am allergic. Tried to call front desk, but the phone was not answered. Ended up rolling towels for a makeshift pillow. They had internet access through the TV, but message that said a trial of Windows had expired blocked the screen and I could not get rid of it. Shower had wimpy water pressure. Each thing was relatively minor, but added up to a frustrating experience. I would not go back to this hotel.

I had the unfortunate experience of having to stay at this terrible hotel last week. The Maryville Courtyard (Marriott) is a disgusting place; it smells, the service was lousy, and it was dirty. I had booked (and paid for) a non smoking room and was put into a smoking room. I felt as if I was sleeping in an ashtray. This place was really the pits. I wouldn't have my worst enemy stay here.

On the other hand, I did enjoy St. Louis. Great city, great people. Just avoid this little dump.

We got this hotel on priceline for $38. It was worth much more. It was very clean, staff was friendly and it was beautifully landscaped. There was a baseball team there that was rowdy but when it came time for bed they made sure they were quiet. Only fall back is there were no restaurants in walking distance.
