We stayed here for a night (we are also doing a 10,000 mile cross country trip) and found that it is a very nice hotel and a good value for the money. We had reserved a king room but it smelled musty to us. We left the window open to air out the room while we walked to the Cracker Barrel next door for dinner, but when we returned, the room still had that musty odor. The desk clerk had no more king rooms, but offered to reduce the price or give us a room with two queens. We took the other room. She came to our original room and agreed with us that the smell was bad, but we all agreed that the room with two queens was just fine! In fact, it was great - large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fine with a lot of choices. I recommend this hotel very highly.
