Although Rockaway Beach needs to clean itself up and do a lot of repairs, Branson Lakes Family Resort provided restful and relaxing times on our vacation. The rooms were very well kept and clean and the owners are very friendly and will talk your leg off if you give them the chance (smile!). It is a very nice peaceful resort in the heart of what was once a major vacation destination known as Rockaway Beach but the town has suffered some major pitfalls and I am hoping with all my heart it gets put back on the map.
