I recieved a free one night stay at the Days Inn, Ozark from a christmas party at my work. One of our managers traded goods from our company for a one night stay from them. Over a year had passed before I had a need to use it. When I called to ask if it was still valid, the "manager" asked how I got it. I explained that it was given to me as a christmas gift. His words were, "That was not supposed to be passed around". He said he would check, and call me back. He never did, I called him, and he said that I would just have to "come in and see". So when my family and I got there, I walked in to the lobby and the woman at the desk just sat there eating something, and didn't even get up to greet me. When I showed her my certificate, she just said, "I don't know if we have any rooms." I asked if the manager was available, and she said, "Yeah, he's here somewhere". So I sat and waited, when he showed up, she didn't even tell him I was there, I had to walk up and introduce myself. The woman just sat there and kept eating, and when she talked, food sprayed from her mouth. While I was standing there at the desk, they proceeded to talk about me and my certificate right in front of me in their own foreign language. How rude could they be? They deliberated for a few minutes before deciding to let me stay. Rude, discourteous, sarcastic, lazy, bad customer service. It was so bad, I almost wanted a refund even though it was free!
