“Lovely Boothbay”

Brown's Wharf Inn

The staff were extremely friendly and hands on. Ken Brown was often in attendence!
The restaurant was wonderful -especially with lovely lobster.
The views from our room were splendid -right across the busy harbour to the busy section of Boothbay.
If you are looking for "action" on your doorstep then perhaps this is not the place to go. However the 10 minute walk from the motel across the footbridge to town was a real pleasure.

We found this to be real old style motel, well kept and well run. However ,probably in common with many such lodgings, the soundproofing could be a problem if you had noisy neighbours. The bathroom was on the small side which did not bother us.

We would be quite happy to return to Brown's if in the area again.

We loved our stay at this quaint motel on the harbor. The balcony off our room on the first floor made it feel like we were on a boat! Lovely time, especially with a glass of wine at sunset overlooking the harbor. Try the restaurant for excellent seafood with reasonable prices.

“Incredible!!!!”

Brown's Wharf Inn

Just want to tell you how wonderful our stay at Browns Wharf Inn was. From the moment we were greeted and checked in by Mrs. Brown herself, until we checked out with Michelle in the morning, everything was friendly, courtreous and detailed. When we arrived we couldn't help but notice the lovely manicured flowers and how neat everything appeared. Since we booked late, our room was not on the front but coveside facing the inner harbor. We loved the quiet setting and lovely view. We will always stay coveside in the future. The front does offer more action, but we just walked to the front where rocking chairs are provided to see the rest. We dined in the nautical decored dining room. That's what Maine is about! Tastefully done with a rustic charm. My husband had the best prime rib and incredible popover. I was the lucky one though, with my 2lb. lobster. The serveice was attentive and prompt....resulting in a huge tip for our server Annie. We hope to go back 1 more time this year before they close. Bravo to all the Browns and their staff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been visiting Brown's Wharf Inn since 1987. I have so many fond memories--the accomodations are beautiful, best view of the harbor, the flowers all around the inn are gorgeous. The staff is friendly and accomodating. I started visiting there with my parents--I now bring my own family there. This place is wonderful--I don't want to stay anywhere else!!
