Having never stayed at a managed condo before, we didn't know what to expect, and were wary of booking a stay here. After some research on Travelocity, mainly reading other reviews, and some prodding from the Mrs. we decided to give Floridays a try. It was absolutely great.

The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and clean. With 2 teenagers in tow, it was great to have a private bath in the master bedroom, and the Jacuzzi was a very pleasant surprise. Granite tops on all kitchen and bath surfaces gave the condo a nice upscale feel. There were TVs in both bedrooms and a large flat-screen in the living room.

Outside, the grounds are well-kept, with the requisite palm trees and tropical plantings. The pool is large & shapely with some fun water features for kids. The poolside bar and deli was a great convenience for late-evening eats after returning exhausted from Disney or Universal, or a quick quart of milk etc.

The resort is nicely situated between Disney and Universal, and a short drive to either. There are shuttles to the parks, but we didn't use them. We rented a car, after reading that Floridays was not within walking distance to much of anything, and were glad we did.

In baseball terms, we would call Floridays a Home Run, and would recommend it without hesitation.

After doing research on TripAdvisor for the Orlando area, we decided to give this resort a try. I was able to get an excellent rate through AAA, it was the same price as a regular hotel room at Marriott. We arrived early and it was well before their 4:00 check in. They took my cell number and called about 1:30 to say it was ready. We stayed in building C, room 406. The minute we walked through the door, we were impressed with the size and layout of this two bedroom, two bathroom condo. It was very clean, had a full kitchen, a washer and dryer. From our balcony we had pond with fountain, surrounded by lovely landscaping and we could see the pool surrounded by palm trees.

The location was perfect (we rented a car), there was a Publix grocery store right around the corner, since we had a full kitchen with everything you could possibly need, we only ate one meal out the entire time we were in Orlando. SeaWorld and Aquatica was only 10 minutes away, Universal Studios was about 20 minutes. The traffic was never bad which surprised me since there are so many amusement parks in that area.

Housekeeping came around 2:00 every afternoon with fresh towels and toiletries (no need to bring shampoo, conditioner, soap or body wash).

We had already purchased all of our theme park tickets on line, but I did see a desk dedicated to ticket sales / information right across the check in desk at the lobby. I also saw the I-Line bus stop right in front of the resort. They also have a business computer area to the left side of the check in desk. I was also able to mail postcards from the front desk. Everyone was always very polite and friendly.

The night before we checked out, I received a phone call from the front desk thanking us for our visit and they asked if we needed any assistance with our bags, a wake up call or anything else. I was really impressed with that type of customer service follow up.

I could easily picture living full time in one of their condos, we will definitely be back on future trips to Orlando.

We stayed at Floridays Resort for ten nites, although it was as seems from the web site I too have to agree on the house keeping issue, our sheets were changed twice and fresh towels everyday (they had no chose we used them all) but nothing else. Although we kept our end and made their jobs easier yet still they did nothing else. Although I can honestly say that yes I would return, everything else was great!

I had booked a 2 bedroom & when I arrived I was surprised that I was upgraded to a 3 bedroom at no charge. The staff service were very friendly & helpful!! I was very impressed with the condo. They are better than a 5 star hotel & I have stayed in many of them!!! There was even a mini cafe to buy anything you may need like milk for my baby, which was so convenient!! I would definetly recommend this resort & look forward to staying there again!
