We stayed here for three nights while visiting Sea World and Aquatica. Overall, we had a very good experience. The condos do look exactly as on the website photos. The furnishings remind me of a Residence Inn - very nice but definitely not a "luxury" condo.

We were upgraded to a three bedroom unit which thrilled my 9 year twins because they had their own rooms and TV. The spaciousness was welcome after staying in a regular hotel room for four nights. Having a washer and dryer was wonderful.

The large pool is great and there is an excellent guitar player/singer on the weekends.

We had two problems which were resolved quickly - thankfully they have 24 hour maintenance. The first night there was no hot water but it was fixed by 7 am the next morning. The next night the battery in the smoke detector went low and started chirping at 10 p m - it was fixed in 10 minutes.

I would not stay here without a car. The I Drive Trolly is near, but really didn't look that convenient to me.

We got a good AAA rate on Floridays website. I'd recommend staying here - nice property, good value for the roominess you will enjoy.

The Floridays is a beautiful property with much to offer. It is a perfect place for a family that doesn't want to eat out for every meal. The housekeeping needs a lot of work. We stayed for nine nights and our beds were made three times. Towel changes were comical. Sometimes they would put them away, but most times they were thrown on the stools in the kitchen. Sometimes all of the garbage was removed but most of the time we needed to do it ourselves. You never knew when housekeeping would come to your room, it could be at 10:00 am or 5:00 pm, there was no consistency. We had to ask for toilet paper, garbage bags and towels on more than one occasion. Check in was 4:00 pm and we didn't get our room until 7:00 pm. No compensation was ever offered. I would not recommend this property to anyone until they get there act together. It is the worse housekeeping I have ever seen and there customer service was just as bad.

Just returned from 2 week stay at Floridays. Spacious and well situated apartments. However cleaned only once, towels changed 3 times and beds made every 3 days which wouldn't be a problem if you were made aware of this beforehand. Vacuum cleaner and dryer provided, in fact we were advised to dry our wet towels in the dryer provided if we wanted towels dry - we did this and vacuumed. However as someone who does housework the other 50 weeks of the year I had wanted to holiday without having to do additional housework. After 1 week it was explained that the apartment was to be cleaned once, towels, beds changed and trash removed every 3 days, this would appear not to be standard policy as reviews vary. Pleasant stay in Florida and you could say that it was home from home.

Overall, our stay at Floridays was a good one. Planning a trip to Disney can be a very overwhelming experiences so I am taking time to submit this Review in hopes of sparing other future Disney travelers.We had a few surprises during our trip that are certainly worthy of mentioning so I've outlined them below.

The Room:
The condo looked exactly like it did on the Floridays website. There were a few notables- Nicks/scratches in the coffee table and the metal coating on the bathroom sink plug was badly peeled. We had 2 small children in our party so these were minor eyesores in the grand scheme of things and not really worthy of mentioning. The furniture and carpet were very clean and I felt comfortable enough to take my shoes off w/o donning slippers :-)

The accomodations:
The front desk attendant was very pleasant upon check-in, although we discovered later that he should've given us a shuttle bus schedule. The morning after our first night there, I called downstairs to inquire about shuttle times to SeaWorld and discovered they were book for the day and that you have to reserve seats 24 hours in advance. So I proceeded to reserve seats for the next few days out and was told that there were only seats left on the shuttle going to Epcot a few days later but no seats on the shuttle going to Magic Kingdom the following day. This was annoying b/c we called prior to our trip to inquire about shuttle service and were never told that there was limited shuttle service to/from the theme parks. We based our decision to not rent a car on the information we were provided. Who knew that they only provided shuttle service to a limited number of people each day. We ended up catching a taxi to SeaWorld which is only a 3 or 4 miles from the hotel and it cost us $25. We ended up catching the I-trolley back that evening for $1 each. It cost us $50 one way to Magic Kingdom and we discovered that it is a common practice for the taxi drivers to give you bad information, manipulate their meter and to pass extra fees your way. For instance, the cab driver was charged the standard $12 parking fee at Magic Kingdom (although he only dropped us off) and he passed this fee onto us. We were told that only taxi companies affiliated w/ Disney get to avoid the parking fee :-(.

In hindsight, we would have opted to rent a car instead of relying on taxis to get around. Publix supermarket was w/i walking distance of the hotel (for the most part); however, there was no sidewalk and it felt awkward to walk the unpaved trail w/ grocery bags. My hubby took a taxi back to the hotel for $4 during his second trip to the supermarket.

We stayed in building B which is next to the pool w/ a view of the lake. The property was clean, our fellow guests seemed friendly enough and we never heard a lot of noise. The pool was nice and never too crowded. We would certainly visit this hotel again and would recommend it to other families.

My only suggestion- Rent a car!
