We booked this hotel for 3 days prior to our cruise. It was a great deal, however, it was the worst Embassy Suites that I have been to. The positive things about staying here is of course the room size and I also enjoy the decor of the Embassy Suites, there is a pond area with koi in the courtyard. There was a gift shop, but pretty spendy. This location also has a car rental company in the lobby, that is convenient. It also has a free shuttle to and from the airport as well as $10 parking. Parking near the ocean hotels was closer to $15 or $20 a day.
The thing that I did not like the most was the breakfast which at other Embassy Suites is usually fabulous. Here, it was not great at all. Two of the days, they did not have made to order omelettes, the fruit selection was not great either. It was comparable to a Holiday Inn breakfast-which would not be horrible, but knowing what other Embassy Suites have, was disappointing. The hapypy hour was so crowded, that it took 20 minutes in line to get one drink. There were no tables open 2 of the 3 nights we were there.
Overall, it was a good hotel, however, I probably would not stay at this location again.
