We stayed from April 25-30. It was a Birthday splurge for me. I had told the reservation (Maya) what the celebration was about and on the first night we had a wonderful gesture from the staff. Thanks again!

The Trump was beyond what I had imagined. Having stayed at Loews in Miami, and many Vegas Hotels, I set this actually above as a hotel. We had a Junior Suite and the view was wonderful, ocean, pool and the city all from the balcony. Couldn't have asked for more. The staff was more than helpful and friendly. Always giving us tips on the sun or dinner locations.

The Spa was even right up there with the Vegas ones too.

Only bit of downfall was location, really too busy to cross road and valet service was in need of ambition.

So just plan on staying there, no need to leave anyways. They have it all. The food was wonderful too. Its pricey but you do get what you pay for. For me it was a real treat!!

We traveled to the Trump recently with our three year old son, and the hotel was really nice. We splurged on a one bedroom suite and the room was very nice with a full kitchen. We felt like we where in our own apartment on Miami Beach! The view of the atlantic from the ocean front rooms are spectacular, with the right conditions you can sit on your balcony and watch a spectacular sunrise.

Highlights:
-There are two pools (which they don't tell you on the website)
-One has a great zero entry with waterfalls for the kids and my son had a blast
-the other pool is really much more quiet, not as many kids hanging out at this one so if you are traveling without kids you don't have to be subjected to the kids pool
-3 hot tubs
-A great beach very close to the pool, so you can split your day
-The pool bar had good choices for food and the service at the pool bar was exceptional.
-The spa is really nice, we both got massages
-As stated above, the room was very nice and I can't say it enough, the ocean view was spectacular!
-The breakfast buffet was very nice (ask for a rate where breakfast is included)

Things they could work on
-The concierge service was very underwhelming on recommendations for restaurants
-The lobby restaurant was really only good for breakfast

Summary, this is a great upscale hotel to travel with you family without it being a cheesy family resort.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The staff is extremely helpful to make you feel comfortable (reception, restaurant, pool, beach). The room was spacious and very clean. The food at the restaurant is fabuluous. We only can recommend this hotel and will definetely return.

I was expecting more of this hotel.
For the price you pay the room could be nicer.
But what dissapointed us more was the food at the gourmet restaurant, and the service offered there.
Waiters where not professionals, they did not had the level to be in such a hotel.
And the food was overcooked and not tastier.
Would not come back.
