I came to the Quality inn to take some time to relax and be at peace. My stay was completely ruined by the rudeness from one of the staff members. I travel to many different areas and stayed in many different hotes. Never have I experienced such lack of customer service then at this Quality Inn south of the falls (14501 south dixie hwy, miami fl 33176).
I have requested a smk rom which was kindly given to me by Maria at the front desk. When I came in the room and noticed a stain on the bed and the right lamp by the window not functioning I requested to switch rooms. Maria delightflly switched rooms for me and offered her apologies. When given the key to the 2nd room (#204) I discvrd this room was even WORSE!! It smelled like bad B.O. and the pillow had stains AND hair on it. When i called the front desk for a second time Maria was not avail but a lady named Renee answered. Renee was extremely RUDE to me. The room smelled so bad, I couldnt even stay in it to wait for Maria so I went back to the front desk. Renee then told me "it's a smoking room, what do you expect". Maria came back to give me the initial room keys for the room i was in first. They both had HORRIBLE attitudes at this point and I heard Renee in the back saying "she's ridiculous" in front of other customers.
My experience with the staff left a bitter taste more then the stinky room. I obviously will never rent there again, but simply wanted to share my experience with ppl so that it may not happen to anyone again. This can ruin any vacation or peace seeking experience.
As you can see my complaint is not so much about the room, but mostly about the staff's (Maria front desk and Renee bookkeeper)lack of customer service and professionalism. Renee's commnts and behavior wer uncalled for and unnecessary.
