Our room was a large suite and that was nice, but we had several problems. First, the hotel staff gave us bad directions that led to an additional 10 minute delay arriving. Second the only rooms the hotel offered that are smoke-free are handicapped. They need to get with the times! And the room we settled on smelled like Chinese food. (So we swapped stale cigarettes for stale Chinese.) Also, the noise from the Palmetto expressway adjacent and a nearby motorcyclist party was a bit annoying. But the price was something like $100 a night with tax etc, so that's pretty cheap for Miami. And the room was definitely spacious and clean and close to the airport, which is what we wanted (to catch an early morning flight out). Plus they do have computers with internet access downstairs if you need them which I thought was cool. So I'm not sure we could have done much better for a cheap place to crash near the airport.
