My boyfriend and I ate at Sarabeth's twice while we were in Key West. The restaurant was highly recommended by the staff at our hotel so we decided to give it a try. Our first visit was dinner on a beautiful August evening. Dave, the owner and one of the friendliest faces in the entire town, greeted us at the door and lead us to a candlelit table on front patio. We ordered the Mahi and the Roasted Chicken and found both dishes to be fantastic (A+). The meal was topped off by a slice of Key Lime Cream Pie and a cup of coffee. We loved the food and the owner so much we decided to go back the very next day for breakfast. Our choice for breakfast was determined by the dish we saw being delivered to our neighbor's table. I couldn't help but notice the gorgeous stack of fully pancakes with fresh strawberries tucked in between. My boyfriend and I both ordered the that very same dish - Lemon Ricotta Pancakes - and we were both in agreement, this was the MOST DELICIOUS pancake we had ever eaten (A+++). The only negative thing I could say about the meal was that I could not finish all five pancakes.
I cannot wait until our next trip to Key West just so I can visit Sarabeth's.
