We were excited to go to Sarabeth's after reading the great breakfast reviews, so we decided to walk there from our hotel. We walked a mile only to be disappointed. My husband had the pink shrimp omelet which was under-done. His side dish of home fries/potatoes was cold. We told the waitress that the potatoes were cold, so she left to get us some more. She returned later and said that the pototoes were now done and did we still want them? (by that time, we were done with the rest of the food) I had the salmon and cream cheese eggs which were good but not that hot. Overall we were disappointed and would not eat there again. There are just too many good restaurants to try to waste your time on mediocrity!

During a family weekend in Key West, we went to Sarabeth's for breakfast based on TA reviews. The concierge at our hotel tried to sway us away from it, but we went ahead anyway.

Loved the food; between the four of us, the winner was the Lemon Ricotta pancakes. We sat outside, on a very nice patio that exemplifies Key West. The location was good, not too far from the major hotels, but away from the Duval touristy ambiance. The owner David greeted us, and checked on us several, several times. He seemed like a perfectionist that wanted to make sure everything was to his standards.

David Case...he loves what he is doing and it shows. He welcomed our group to Sarabeth's like we had known each other for years. His staff and the locals we met were equally
kind to all of us...and by the way the food is very, very good!
We loved the breakfast menu and we enjoyed sitting outside but one evening we decided to try dinner and we loved it. We arrived without reservations and we were sitted in a small pantry area in the back and loved every minute of it. we were never really sure who our server was becasue everyone was taking care of us, not your typical dining experince and that made it all the better.
