My husband and I just returned from a three day stay at the Lighthouse Court. We loved everything about it....super clean, wonderful staff, and great location!! We hung out by the pool in the morning, strolled Duval, and enjoyed the wonderful weather. Every morning we enjoyed coffee, orange juice , bagels, toast, yogart, danishes, and muffins by the pool. This hotel is located right across the street from the Hemingway House ( which is very cool)! All in all, we will be returning to the Lighthouse Court next summer. It is our new fav in Key West!

I stayed at the hotel just a week ago and while it was nice to stay just one block away from the madness for some privacy. The parking is mostly street parking which is very hard to find so going places in the car was ruled out. The hotel staff was not overly friendly and the pool bar was not that great, being only only 3 days a week for limited hours. The housekeepers did not clean the room until after 3 or 4 p.m. everyday which was pretty annoying after being out all day and coming back to no clean towels. All in all I stayed at worse I proably will not go back however but for the price its not terriable

We stayed at the Lighthouse Court for three nights. I agree with other guests that the Lighthouse Court's location in relation to the quiet end of Duval Street was great, but repeated walks to Mallory Square were a little too much for me (some mobility issues plus temperature and humidity). My main gripe was the fact that in our room (5C) the glass door to the shower stall was off its damaged track, and even after maintenance "fixed" it, was always in danger of falling off again. Also, the 14" opening into the shower required going in sideways, very carefully, to avoid damaging vulnerable body parts. A big person is definitely not going to fit. A shower update is WAY overdue, and meanwhile there should be a serious price break for guests who end up in 5C. The included breakfast was so-so, typical continental offerings (bagels, juice, coffee, etc.), and the setting was mediocre as well--a basically bare concrete patio next to the pool, with little landscaping. Overall, some good points, a few problems. Bottom line: I'd stay there again, but first I'd shop around for a B&B closer to Mallory Square.

Our room was unbelievable. HUGE! Very open and "homey". Private wrap around balcony that had a view of Hemmingway's House. Came home in the evening and sat for a while each night w/ a drink and did some people watching. The full kitchen was beautiful, and we also had a washer/dryer (nice to come home w/out any laundry). Raised deck outside the door w/ a hammock that gives a good view of the lighthouse. Awesome spot to sit at night. Every morning breakfast is served by the pool (english muffins, bagels, muffins, fruit, yogurt, coffee, etc.) We loved that we were close to Duval st, where all the trendy restaurants and bars are. It's only about a 10 min walk down to the mallory square & the docks, grabbed a margarita and watched the sun set every night. I <3 Key West
