We had never been to Key West, only a few hours drive from our Florida home, so we planned a little "get-away". I checked many web sites and settled on the Grand Guest House. We were completely satisfied with the Grand. It was all we expected. The Grand is a great value, professionally run and conveniently located to all Key West has to offer. We brought our own bikes (although they have bikes available to rent on site) and were just a short ride
(or walk) to all the places we wanted to go.
If you are looking for value, clealiness and a friendly efficiently run establishment this is where to stay.

This October my wife, my sister, her husband and I stayed at The Grand Guesthouse in Key West. We were treated like kings and queens. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the continental breakfast was more than we expected. The rooms were very well appointed and clean. We had researched B&B's online and their web site was easy to navigate and their pricing was very good. The Grand's proximity to Duval Street was great, we saved on taxi fares and got exercise walking. The neighborhood The Grand is in was very quiet and clean. When we go back to the Keys The Grand will be the only choice for our accommodations.

Decided at the last minute to go to Key West and most B&B were either sold out or had a minimum number of nights stay required.

Found the Grand on tripadvisor, checked out their website then called to get confirmed for 2 nights for Room #2.

The room was small but very clean and it has a nice private courtyard that was perfect for breakfast and catching up on some reading.

Since this was my first time to Key West the staff was very helpful with suggestions for sightseeing and dining. All of there recommendations were excellent!

I will definitely would stay there again

The Grand Guest House provides a good basis for exploring the old town of Key West. The courtyard is very picturesque and a lovely setting for eating your complimentary breakfast or just taking the opportunity to relax and take in the very laid back Key West atmosphere.

The room was a very good size, with two rooms consisting of a double bed in each. The room also contained a fridge, which was particularly useful as having a chilled drink waiting after walking round a very hot Key West was heaven sent.

The guest house is in a quaint residential area, although it is about a 10 min walk to Duval street and about a 20/30 min walk to Mallory Square, although this can seem further when it is exceptionally hot. Derek, the guest house manager, does recommend hiring bikes. We wish we had taken this advice.

Derek was very helpful and provided us with some useful advice and recommendations, especially a little local restaurant which is off the main tourist route, called El Siboney.

I would recommend this guest house to anyone.
