We booked this hotel for my brother-in-law's 30th birthday. We stayed in #35, a three bedroom, three and a half bath townhouse right on the water. #35 is the best unit at the place because it is on the corner with water on two sides.
The units were very spacious and the pictures of the resort do not do it justice. The beds were very comfortable and there was everything you would need in the kitchens. The kitchens also had state-of-the-art appliances and OXO utensils.
The resort was not very busy when we stayed so we had one of the four private pools all to ourselves. There were always fresh towels at the pools and it was salt water, not chlorine.
The staff was very nice at check-in and check-out. We were able to check in at 10am and check out at 2pm for no extra charge.
My only complaint is the townhouse was not cleaned once while we stayed. Fresh towels were stocked and the trash was emptied daily, but that was it.
We would definitely recommend this resort to others and would stay here again in a minute. We only wish we could get the introductory rate of $349/night again. :(

Parent came to visit me and my wife. We live in Fort Myers. They came from Califonia. The Hotel Service and Rooms were completly awsome. My Parents were in heaven the hole trip. The Pools and Garden are incredably wonderful. Just want to Thank You for a wonderful stay. The Key West Archatuture of your place was great.

The Parrot Key Resort is a first class resort that I would recommend to anyone traveling to Key West from around the country. From the wonderful concierge service to the facilitiies on the grounds, it really felt like a true island getaway experience. I was amazed at how spaciious the private villas were and everything is brand new! There are plenty of places to eat close bye and Duval Street was only a short cab ride away. I would definetely suggest staying at this top notch resort whether your visit is for business or pleasure.

This resort is just gorgeous, its like a little town of heavenly private villas. We enjoyed it tremendously. Customer service was excellent, Hurricane Ike was coming in, we decided not to stay the second night and they let us stay till 5 Pm and did not charge us extra. They were extremely accomodating. The place is gorgeous, its just what I would pick out for myself if I was purchasing a home. The lower floor is beautiful, great kitchen, outdoor private beach backyard. The artwork is exceptional and the decorating is very inviting. We really enjoyed it. You can walk to the Eckerd Drug Store for Munchies and Beverages. The pools are beautiful, fresh water which I was not expecting ,they were very warm, so they were not as refreshing as I would have expected. We were so sad to leave, it really felt like home.
This resort is NOT close to the Historic District, just a couple miles drive, paid $10 for parking a day in town.

We stayed here for a long weekend, everything in the unit was exceptional. The four pool areas are surrounded with lush landscaping. We rented scooters for runs into downtown Key West which made parking very easy. Hopefully this will be an annual weekend getaway spot. I highly recommend the Parrot Key Resort.
