some friends told me about parrot key and was sure we would enjoy it. we came down for the mini lobster season and will plan to go back. everyone was very friendly and accomodating and the place was very clean. loved the small pool areas

We were very pleased with PKBHR when we visited during their grand opening. We were the 3rd couple to be registered on May 15th. We stayed for 3 days and only wished we could have stayed longer. We have been down to KW about a half a dozen times so we tend to know the lay of the land and know what to expect.

As far as the PKBHR , its like you are living in a Corona Beer commercial. AND WE MEAN THAT IN A GOOD WAY !! The property could not have been better. Between the landscaping and the rooms, we only wish that we could have transported that entire environment back home after our stay.

All in all we would give PKBHR 5 stars. We hope to return sometime in the future. Great Job Mr. Singh

Our family of 5 stayed at Parrot Key Resort the week of July 14, 2008. We were THRILLED upon check-in ... The beach homes are spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The sights from our balconies were breathtaking, and the landscaped garden and pool areas were magnificent! We had to PRY ourselves away from the resort when it was time to venture into Key West and start acting like "tourists"! Our ONLY complaint at Parrot Key, and it was a minor one, was the music that is piped in through outdoor speakers all throughout the resort. There is no way to individually control the music right outside your particular unit, so you are somewhat "forced" to listen to it. The music DOES lend a tropical touch later in the day, but at 7:30 in the morning we would have much preferred hearing the swaying of palm trees (or nothing at all). At check-out, we brought this to the attention of resort manager, Tina, who seemed to genuinely appreciate our feedback. She, along with the rest of the staff, could not have been any nicer!

All in all, our experience at Parrot Key was absolutely wonderful. On our way out of the Keys, we stopped at Tranquility Bay in Marathon (another Singh property) to view the grounds. We were equally impressed with that resort ... just stunning. We cannot wait to stay in EITHER of these resorts the next time we're in the Keys!!

Traveled with my 3 grown sons. We booked PK because they advertised beachfront, watersports, Tike Bar and restaurant. Our idea of a great vacation. Once we arrived, we discovered the watersports were not yet on-site as promised, the restaurant was not opened yet as advertised, the Tiki bar could only serve canned beer as they were not yet licensed and Beachfront meant they threw sand in the backyard, no beach at all on the property! Had to rent car to go into town every night for meals, to beach during day and for watersports access. I feel that we should have ben told upfront that nothing advertisd on their website was true!
