“BIG DISAPPOINTMENT”

Parrot Key Beach House Resort

Traveled with my 3 grown sons. We booked PK because they advertised beachfront, watersports, Tike Bar and restaurant. Our idea of a great vacation. Once we arrived, we discovered the watersports were not yet on-site as promised, the restaurant was not opened yet as advertised, the Tiki bar could only serve canned beer as they were not yet licensed and Beachfront meant they threw sand in the backyard, no beach at all on the property! Had to rent car to go into town every night for meals, to beach during day and for watersports access. I feel that we should have ben told upfront that nothing advertisd on their website was true!

“Beautiful New Resort”

We stayed a this new resort during their "soft opening." They just opened in May and only filled half of their beach houses while they are working out the kinks. While some guests complained that the tiki bar/restaurant was not open...the PRIVACY afforded us during this time was well worth it! We stayed for 4 nights, and there were several times that we were the only ones in one of their 4 pools. It is a beautiful resort with HUGE and IMMACULATE townhome style beach houses. The kitchens are state of the art and have EVERYTHING you might need. We brought our own drinks and food, which saved us some money, so we had no need for a restaurant on site. The resort is in the middle of a bustling area, however, once you are in the resort you would never know it. We felt secluded and private, and you could easily enjoy your entire time without ever leaving the resort. We stayed in a corner house farthest from the parking lot...I reccommend this, as it affords a VERY QUIET stay. Just a note about their air conditioning units...the best we have ever experienced. With the near 100 degree heat, all 3 levels of our house maintained a chilly 68 degrees (much better than anywhere we have ever stayed.) Book here with confidence!

Tina, the guest services manager, was EXCELLENT. She replied to all my inquiries promptly and politely.

Just remember that this resort is not in Old Town Key West. You will have a VERY SHORT drive to Duval Street.

“A small slice of Heaven”

Parrot Key Beach House Resort

My family and I were staying at another Singh property in Marathon called Tranquility Bay. Many locals told us that no vacation to the Keys would be complete without a daytrip to the Dry Tortugas. Unfortunately, with two grammar school aged kids, getting them up at 6 to get down to Key West by 7:30am wasn't happening. While Tranquility Bay was great in so many ways, a huge Miami wedding moved in for the weekend, so we inquired about Parrot Key. They had just opened it the day before, but we worked out moving down there, thus accommodating our Tortugas excursion.

Parrot Key is absolutely great. The service wasawesome (the manager even walked us down to show off the property, since we were the first people to stay in the rooms). The accommodations were suberb: much bigger than Tranquility Bay, the kitchen boasted huge granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, HD tvs all over the house, four bathrooms, third floor media room with xBox - all my wife could say is WOW.

The grounds are tight, as one would expect in KW, but the vegetation is already lush and the pools, while practically right on top of each other, were separated enough by the palms and other tropical plants. Caution: it was over 95 the week we were there and the pools gave little to no relief, the water being in the 80s.

Overall, we had such a nce time that we plan on coming back in the Fall.

“Island oasis”

My busband and I vacationed at PK June 8-14. As noted previously, the property is not completely opened for business, however the nice part about it was the resort was very quiet and at times we actually had a pool to ourselves. If asthetics are important, you will find this property just beautiful!! Great lengths have been taken to create a lovely oasis a bit away from Duval St. I had requested a room very near the water and quiet. #35 was perfect!! As an added plus we could enjoy gorgeous sunsets from our porch!

“Everything was great!”

Stayed here June 10-14. Flew into Fll and drove down stopping at Alabama Jacks for lunch. Got to key West around 5 stopped for drinks and food at grocery store then on to Parrot Key. We had a 3 bedroom 3.5 bath townhouse facing the pool. Loved the brand new smell. Everything was top of the line and kitchen stocked with anything you would need to cook. Pool has beach towels stacked up. right now had a temporary bar but the tiki hut was opening this coming Wen. They were moving furniture into some units but was never a bother. We spend two days by the pool, one day in town and ate and drank at numerous restaurants and bars. Check out was easy and no extra charges. Would stay here any time if the price was right. Drove into town and parked in $10 a day lots then walked everywhere.
