We used to live near this restaurant and liked it. So, when we visited the area for one day, we were glad for a chance to go back. Big mistake! It was the second worst BBQ meal we've ever had. Not one waitress that we saw ever so much as cracked a smile. Our server was not only bordering on sullen, but she was extremely inattentive. The salad bar was pathetic. The lettuce had been sitting there a little too long and tasted almost dirty. The rolls were hard as proverbial rocks. Nothing else on the salad bar was worth the extra cost. When I asked for a bowl for the soup, I was told it was extra. (Never mind.) When our meal finally arrived - delivered by another waitress, since ours had vanished again - part of it was wrong and we had to wait far too long to get it corrected. The garlic bread was pretty good, but every thing else was disgraceful. The beans had way too much vinegar and nobody ate more than one bite. The sweet sauce was OK, but a little too peppery for some members of our party, (who were wishing we had gone to Sonny's). The chicken was overcooked and very dry. The baked potato, also overcooked, was just barely warm enough to soften the butter and being edible is the best I can say about it. Overall, not one person in our party was happy with his or her meal. At an average of $9-11 per person, this is just unacceptable, One thing everyone agreed on... never again!
