I was skeptical about booking a hotel that I had not stayed in before. I have booked hotels that did not live up to my expectations and had to find another hotel that was acceptable. My family and I were very happy to find the hotel above our expectations. We could see the beach from our windows , the rooms were clean and well kept, the staff was very friendly and courteous and there were stores and restaurants within walking distance. My son and his wife spent time at the beach bars in the evening and my son got to do some fishing in the ocean. We were there to board a cruise ship but I think my son enjoyed fishing at the pier the most. The stay at the Days Inn got our vaction off to a great start and I have a Hotel in Cocoa Beach that will be my home away from home.

Hotel advertises "beach access" but not "beachfront" location. It is kitty-corner from the main beach parking lot and pier. I easily walked to the beach while lugging a chair, beach umbrella, and backpack. Being so close to the pier is good because of the bars and restaurants. In the other direction, accross the street there is a Publix supermarket and several take-out restaurants. There was a microwave and refrigerator in the room and there were plenty of towels by the pool. The pool was slightly heated so that it was refreshing to go into on a hot day, but not chilly, either. Kennedy Space Center was an easy drive. Would definitely stay here again.

The "beachfront" hotels nearby were advertsing about $30 more per night and all I would have gotten is one block closer to the beach and further away from the pier.

Just got back from a week at this Days Inn. Rooms are very clean, room service was very good. There was no elevator to the 2nd floor rooms ( in our building - there are 2 or 3) so we had to carry our suitcases up.
Rooms had basic amenities as well as a fridge and microwave. The AC unit, when on, runs all the time, so even if the AC cycles off the fan ran. Beds and pillows were very comfortable.
The pool was delightful, but there was no hot tub.
Excellent location for beachy people, because all near the beach you have to pay for parking by meter (didn't look at price) or parking lot ($7 a day)
No parking problems at the hotel.
Supermarket, shopping, and plenty to eat are nearby.

We stayed 6 nights end of Jan -beginning of Feb & were very pleased. The hotel was directly accross from the Pier & a just a short walk to the beach. Our room was exactly as advertised. It was roomy & emaculate. Our balcony view was of the Pier & ocean. Maid Service was excellent. All the staff friendly, warm & helpful. The heated outdoor pool was great. It was so inviting even on 55 degree days. The beautifully painted surround wall blocks the wind. AAA discount made nightly stay under $90 a night. Excellent value. Wish we could have stayed longer.
