After reading all of the other reviews I was worried about our stay but our 5th floor ocean view suite was amazing. I stay at a lot of three hotels and this tops them all for the star rating it has. We paid more money in Naples, Fl, and were dissappointed with the one small room with no microwave or internet hookup. What we were most pleased about was the view and the size of the unit, two completely separate rooms each with a TV giving any traveler gallons of room to spread out for very very comfortable stay. OK so it is not on the beach, I still saw people walking in the sand and a military sub heading out to sea. Oh and for anyone worried about carpet sains, yes there was a juice box stain on the carpet in front of the fridge, that is the fridge beside the real kitchen sink with a real kitchen counter with ample kitchen cupboards with a decent microwave. Stop looking at the carpet and look out the windows at the view and then go out to dinner on the money you saved! the unit was spotless, and the staff super. Defiitely going back next year to stay longer, I really dislike being squeezed into a one room cubby hole. If you want a palace, rent one, this is a Hotel and a Quality one at that.

This Quality Suites is far from the best place to stay in Cocoa Beach. We picked it to provide a separate bedroom for my wife and me while our daughter slept in the living room on the sleeper sofa.

The room is sparsely and plainly furnished....reminds me of some of the newer Motel 6s. Kind of odd decorating, not comforting or welcoming at all....slighhtly contemporary in style, yet somehow lacking style. The room itself was adequately clean and we had no problems with noise.

I prefer hotels on the beach, and this hotel is a short walk from the sands of Cocoa Beach. I would rather have stayed somewhere closer to the water.

The jacuzzi was broken during our stay and was closed.

If you can get there early enough, you can park under the building. Otherwise, there is plenty of parking outside.

The price was pretty good for a suite, but we won't be staying here again.

My boyfriend and I travel to florida every year. This year we decided to spend 3 days at Cocoa Beach. We usual stay closer to Disney. The hotel staff was very friendly nothing wrong with them at all. The hotel is not located on the beach, you do have to walk down a road to it, i have attached photo. There is no pool, but a hot tub. U must acess the hot tub by walking thru the front lobby, which i personally didnt really enjoy, wish there was a sperate enterance. The hotel seemed to be very dead. Not sure if its just the time of year or not, but we stayed from May 8-11th.....the hotel rooms were nothing to cheer about. typical room. the hall ways did have some major stains in the carpet, also have attached photo. I did notice a couple of times our room smelling of smoke, as well as the hallways. There are very nice hotels around the area so do ur research. We will not be returning to this hotel again for next year.

I am in Cocoa Beach once a month for businees, but travel with a small dog. Finding a dog friendly hotel that doesn't overcharge with additional fees can be difficult.The price wasn't bad, but they held $100 against my credit card in case there was damage. That could be an issue for some people. Now the room....it was located behind the elevator in a lone corner on the 2nd floor. I guess they do that do protect from possible noise from the pet, but I felt like I was in a dungeon. AND, when you book with a pet, you do not get your choice of beds. They even put us in a smelly smoking room. When I entered the room, the first thing I noticed, besides the smell of stale smoke, was the tattered couch sporting a large hole in the arm and an overall drab, worn look to the entire room. I truly toyed with the idea of going to another hotel, but since it was just for one night, I stuck it out.

It was nice having the beach so close, but then again, almost all the hotels in Cocoa Beach are either on the beach or across the street, so that feature isn't unique to this hotel. For those of us that like a pool, there was none. There is a large hot tub, but every
time my husband and I went to use it, it was filled with kids. As for
the breakfast, unless you like cereal, toast, pre-packaged muffins or pastries, you won't be eating there. There are no alternatives if you want to eat something healthy.

The staff was very nice. That's truly the only positive thing I can say about the hotel. We will not be going back. If you are traveling with a pet, so far, the LaQuinta has been the best bet all around for us. Fare prices, choice of beds, freedom to stay in any of their rooms, a pool and a large selection at their complimentary breakfasts.
