We stayed here on September 26th for one night pre-cruise.
We are two adults and two kids 8 and 5 years old.
We arrived at about 12:30 in the afternoon and our 1 bedroom suite was ready for us to check-in to. We changed and enjoyed the entire afternoon at the waterpark. Kids had a great time and my wife went around the lazy river for hours. Lots of rules...sure, but they are all just common sense and didn't interfere in the least with our enjoyment. I'm not sure what it is that others seem to have issues with as far as the pool rules go.
The room was great. Clean, lots of light, two queen beds plus the pull-out couch which was comfortable.
We had an enjoyable dinner at the on-site restaurant that evening, prices weren't cheap but the food was worth it.
The beach is worth the walk and we caught the golf cart on the way back. Soft sand and good wave action. Easy walk over to t he pier to watch the cruise ships head out.
They also have an indoor playground and mini-putt course that we also took advantage of.
The staff were all friendly and helpful.
When the kids had to pack up the next morning to go on our cruise they wanted to stay at the resort because it was so much fun.
Will definitely be booking here again before our next cruise.
