“Had a WONDERFUL Stay.”

We stayed at Bear Creek for the 2008 Brews and Blues Festival in Telluride. We just loved this place! We had room 304 and it had it was very spacious, clean, and lovely. The staff could not have been more helpful, and the free Gondola ride into town was a really nice bonus. We would not stay anywhere else if we return as this place was perfect for us. Again the Staff was Amazing! Thank you Bear Creek for a Wonderful Stay!

If it wasn't the free shuttle at our disposal or the incredibly spacious room, than what else could have been virtually perfect about our stay. Oh, by the way, the welcome bottle of rouge vino was an excellent way to kick off our trip.

“Peaceful retreat”

This was a wonderful place to stay. We were there for the Telluride Film Festival.
It was peaceful and in a lovely wooded area, yet still provided easy access to the bottom of the mountain for activities in town.
We stayed in a suite. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. The sound insulation was wonderful! We had a party going in the living area, and the sound didn't disturb anyone sleeping in the adjacent bedrooms.
There is a free shuttle that will take you on a short ride down the mountain to the gondola station into Telluride proper, and the local food market.
We would definitely stay again.

    • Disliked — Better lighting along the road or complimentary keychain flashlights would have been nice. This was an issue with all of Telluride though, not just this property.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful week in Telluride/Mountain Village this summer. The Bear Creek Lodge was perfect, in every way. Our accommodations, a one bedroom condo, had everything we could ask for, nice amenities, quiet, view of trees and mountains, good bed, kitchen, very nice living area that had pull out sofas, flat screen TV's, CD player, tiny patio alcove and lots more. The Lodge has a nice workout facility, indoor and outdoor jacuzzis (plus jacuzzi tub in the room), small pool, grill. There is a large indoor lodge room with a party hosted one night for the owners and guests. We booked a 2 bdrm condo for my daughter and friends who were traveling through, and the receptionist was very helpful. Several of the staff members were exceptional, friendly, helpful, outgoing, just delightful. The manager welcomed us on site on arrival. Any question or concern we had was immediately answered. There is some construction nearby but we could not hear it inside the condo. Telluride is such a beautiful magnificent place!!The wildflowers and waterfalls are incredible this year.
