We just returned from our family vacation to Telluride. While there we spent four nights at Bear Creek Lodge. I have to admit, I was a bit nervous to find out what our accomodations were going to be like. The reviews I read were mostly good; however, there is always the "what if". We were very pleasantly surprised upon our arrival. The two bedroom/two bath condo we rented surpassed our expections. There was plenty of room for our three young children to play, and it helped that they had their own bathroom. The kitchen was very well appointed with all of the latest cooking accessories. The granite countertops and large kitchen table made it more upscale. The bathrooms were very nice and spacious.

The kids enjoyed the pool area and appeciated that it was heated. It is a very short walk down a wooded path to the gondola station. Once on the gondola, it is only a 3-5 minute ride to the core of Mountain Village. We enjoyed staying at Bear Creek rather than in the core in one of the other condos. It was more authentic to Colorado than the European feel of Mountain Village.

Our family of four spent a week at Bear Creek Lodge (RM 309) and loved every moment of it. Great staff, great condo, great location for a week in Telluride. For sure would stay here in future.

If you want a great view of the sunsets and mountains to the north from your condo balcony you need a condo on 3rd or 4th floor on north end of building. If you want a view of the forests, then pick a condo on the south end. Lower floors have great rooms but limited view other than near by forests.

Super pool, spa, conceirge service and local shuttle.

Walking distance to market (went everyday for something) and gondola (free ride to town of Telluride).

Condos were very well furnished and daily maid service was wonderful (and not to early). Enjoyed the Thursday happy hour in the Great Room and the staff's help in choosing places to eat and things to do.

If your looking for a late spring, summer, fall property, this is it. If your looking for ski property, this would work unless you want ski in - ski out. Pretty long hike to the nearest trail.

Excellent property. Attentive staff. Large condominium units (rare in Telluride). Pool was nice, kids loved it and location was ideal -- mountain lodge but easy access to everything. I'll visit again.
