Excellent property. Attentive staff. Large condominium units (rare in Telluride). Pool was nice, kids loved it and location was ideal -- mountain lodge but easy access to everything. I'll visit again.

Telluride is a special place and the BearCreek Lodge made it better! The service was fantastic. Always ready to help with concierge and rides into Mountain Village. The ski funicula was particularly unique. Will be staying again for sure! Workout rooms and heated pool made after ski wonderful.

We had a nice stay at the BCL during the 2008 ski season. We stayed in a three bedroom unit and it was well appointed. Some of the furniture needed replacement and repair. Some of the kitchen items were broken and some were in short number. The lodge is not ski in or out. It does have an above ground mini transport, called a funicular, that travels a few hundred yards to the slope, but it travels very slow and was often over crowded when we were trying to use it. The lodge offers a shuttle, but it too was not immediately available due to the high occupancy while we were there. The fitness equipment was old and the electronic components were not all in working order. The view from any of the units below the very top floor was limited due to the surrounding trees. From what we could see, all of the units have parking lot views. Best of all, the staff was very friendly and always tried to be accomodating to any requests.
