“Never Had French Food Before But Loved It!!”

I was a little skeptical to try this place since they serve classic French and Italian...I've never had French food before and wasn't too sure about what to expect. I must say, however, the food was excellent. I had the tomato soup starter and the veal with the sherry sauce (forgot the name of the dish). It was amazing...I don't know if it was the veal or the sauce, but the plate was one of the best things I've ever tasted - and my first taste of veal. My girlfriend also enjoyed her chicken dish. The server was attentive and could have come by more often, but we were satisfied with the service overall.

Next time I might work up enough moxy to try the escargot.

“don't waste your money”

I don’t know what standard the other people are using to rate Cafe Monet, but I rate it as terrible. My wife and I have eaten all over Europe and never had food that bad. The vegetables were clearly from a can. Service was terrible. My wife is sodium sensitive and she is in bad shape this morning. Her fingers are swollen up like sausages. She lived for 6 years in France and knows French cooking. She was very disappointed. I am still telling her how sorry I am for listening to the people from work that told me how great it was. It ruined our valentines day. I won’t even go into have much it was over-priced for the quality.

Mohammud provides excellent gourmet food and a pleasant ambience for a very fair price.
