Our day at Soaring Tree Top Adventures last week was even more enjoyable our first time two years ago. The expanded soaring runs through the trees and over the Animas River are not to be missed. The redundant safety measures of the course dissolves any guest's trepidation. Each friendly Sky Ranger is attentative and helpful - and obviously well-trained. Another delicious gourmet lunch under the dappled shade on a platform by the river made for a relaxing and peaceful break in the day's excitement. The awe-inspiring scenery and comfortable ride on the narrow-gauge Durango-Silverton train to Tall Timber makes a great start and finish for the day. We have just returned from a quick 3 day trip to Durango, CO just to experience the Soaring Tree Top Adventures. We spent the whole day at the site and enjoyed every minute. The safety features were truly above what anyone would expect and the attention to safety given by the staff was awsome. After zip lining in Costa Rica and Alaska we were delighted with this experience and will be repeating it with our children and grandchildren. For the ultimate in the feeling of flying you have got to try this.

I cannot say enough good things about the people,the experience, the service...
My husband and I were excited about soaring the minute we saw the website and decided to book immediately (about 4-5 months ahead). It wasn't until we were there and were harnessed and headed up the trail towards our first platform that we became a little nervous. These were perfectly good, strong trees we were going to drop out of!!
The rangers are extremely well trained in every aspect of their jobs.Soaring, safety, first-aid, service, etc. My husband has told everyone he has talked to about our trip that he never heard or felt the "it's not my job" attitude. I myself told Denny that not since Disney have I been treated so well. I went through their (Disney) orientation and recognized the effort they put into the guest services training.
The gourmet lunch that they served was one of the best meals we had on our entire trip and had paid much more for much less on the trip.
I cannot think of a single thing that this company can do to improve the experience! The soaring itself is an amazing feeling and should be experienced by even the least adventurous of souls.

As tourist from Europe booking this via Internet - my spouse asked me if I am fine spending such a big amount of money for a party of four. Hope some Europeans may share my upfront concerns.

But what we received, absolutely exceeded our expectations - this in connection with the Durango Silverton Train was by far the best Adventure in our Lifes (and we have seen quite a lot).

Best day in Colorado, fantastic staff, great security, a house keeping and friendly owner, great rides.

When you are nearby (within 500 miles) it is a must.
