I only stayed here one night, but I'd go back.
Hotel was clean, quiet, simple, centrally located. Room was spacious and had a great vanity-style mirror (perfect for female styling!). Room service was decent-- typical Marriot food-- and staff was friendly. Small bar in the lobby (by small, I mean only a couple of stools), but it's a nice gesture for the loan traveler.
Parking was a bit of a pain. Only valet service available and the hotel charges for it ($17, I think?). And while it's a great location for drivers, there is not much in the immediate vicinity to walk to. But Manhattan Beach is right around the corner and you get anywhere from there.
Also, the "Business Center" is only 2 computers and a printer, so you should bring your own laptop, unless you want to sit and watch teenagers play on Facebook all day.
I felt comfortable in this hotel.
