I had a king bed confirmed, but when I got to my room there were two doubles. They failed to mention it to me upon check-in, and when I called the front desk from my room they confessed that they were over-sold on kings. They gave me $20 off the bill for compensation. I am a rewards member of their program, and they were aware of this, but apparently that didn't matter. I don't like to be deceived. In addition, the bathroom floor was not as clean as it should have been. For $189 (before the $20 off), I definitely don't think it was worth it.

Nice property. We used our Marriott points for a stay, as we needed to catch a 5:30am flight and it is right outside the airport property and provides transportation to the airport. Rooms are great and set up for business -- sleeping area is divided from desk area by beautiful maple cabinets/closets/drawers. Makes it seem like 2 rooms. The only problem we had was the water pressure was terrible and we were on the 2nd floor.

I would definitely stay here again if I had a flight in or out of LAX.

We live in the LA area, had a very early flight, and decided to try staying in a hotel the night before. I narrowed it down to this hotel based on TripAdvisor reviews, but was sold on it when I found they have a very enticing "Park and Fly" package. When I subtracted the total for parking at our usual nearby lot from the price of the room package, it all made great financial sense, combined with the huge bonus of not waking up at 3:00 am and driving for an hour before our flight. Roomy, quiet (as reviews have said), and so convenient, it's almost magical. Throw in room service dinner, including pizza for the kids, and it was the smoothest night before a trip we've ever had. The Courtyard was the perfect solution, and we'll stay there in the future when we have an early flight.

This Courtyard is very nice but I find it difficult to belive that it really ranks #14 out of 170+ hotels in Los Angeles. Be that as it may, my stay was comfortable. Being so close to LAX it is amazingly quiet. I never heard a plane. The restaurant (at which I ate breakfast and dinner) is good......not outstanding.....but good. The room was well appointed, the internet connection was good. The front desk, valet parking and restaurant employees were all efficient and friendly. There were not special amenities but the usual were provided. Would I stay there again? Frankly, LAX is such a horrible airport experience I would hope I never would have to (!) but I certainly wouldn't rule this out. A ocouple of blocks away is a regular Marriott that looked very nice. The Sheraton also looked nice and has a Shuler's restaurant.. I might choose one of those.
