The Holiday Inn Express chain seems to be a fairly safe choice for highway travelers, and this one was no exception. Room was very clean and well-appointed, and the "expanded continental breakfast" was served in a large, comfortable room. We did hear some noise from the room above ours, which was surprising. The strangest thing, however, was that we occupied a first-floor room (#120), and when we went to close the curtains as we got ready for bed we discovered that they didn't close -- there were "sheers" covering the window, but the draperies were just panels on either side. We eventually solved the problem by pulling the panels together and securing them at the top with rubber bands, but we were a little surprised and annoyed by this after a long day on the road.
