“Can't fault it”

Coswarth House

We join in the general praise of this beautiful gem of a b&b. It was a surprise few days for my husband's 60th birthday plus our 2 friends in the same position. Couldn't have been better - they were very impressed with our find! Mike and Mary are perfect hosts - by the time we left we felt we should be giving them a hug and kiss as friends. The whole time we were there they couldn't do enough to help and make us feel welcome in their wonderful home. They even suggested we had breakfast in their own kitchen so we could all eat together. We wish them every success in their venture - they really deserve to succeed. The attention to detail and thoughtfulness was amazing.

As with anything that is rated so high you know that there is always a chance that you will be let down as your expectations are unrealistic, however not in this case. The Choswarth really is worth all the praise that is heaped upon it. The room, Brunyee, was absolutely wonderful and the bathroom was fantastic. The room was immaculate, clean and well stocked with coffee, tea, sweets, cake, mineral water and a small bottle of wine! As such the attention to detail was first class and the food very fresh, varied and tasty. We ordered a packed lunch which was wonderful, the mackeral sandwiches were incredible.
I appreciate that reviews should help other travellers and as such should be honest and helpful, therefore the bad points.......... sorry there weren't any!
Oh yes, excellent off road parking which is very helpful in Padstow.

Despite untypical Padstow weather(for us) we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Mary and Mike's little gem of a Band B.We discovered Coswarth House through Trip Advisor and it fully lived up to all the favourable comments which attracted us to the House.
Good luck to Mary and Mike and their forthcming events and thanks again.

Stayed for 2 nights. Lovely spacious room and private bathroom. Great attention to detail which makes them stand out from the rest. Breakfast is either in your room or on the terrace. We can recommend both.

“Excellent attention to detail”

I highly recommend Coswarth House, It is the best B&B / Guesthouse we have stayed in since visiting Welgelegan Guesthouse, Cape Town. Mike and Mary's outstanding attention to detail is to be commended. The bedroom (Garden) was both spacious & comfortable, the bathroom a delightfully bright room with excellent shower and a fab bath overlooking the estuary. Breakfast is served either in your room or in the garden, the food is really good and a really nice pot of tea!
Mike has a very good local knowledge and is very helpful with recommendations for food and drink. We enjoyed both Margots and Bin two on his advice. Well done and keep up the good work.
